This is one of the few classic Jewish delis and restaurants in South Florida, maybe America! After you order, you’re surprised with a smorgasbord of Israeli salads- as typical in Tel Aviv.

The food is great, but you come for the experience. Great spot after Aventura Mall!

We stumbled into Etzel Itzik Deli near Aventura Mall and were genuinely surprised by how good it was. This family-run Middle Eastern Jewish deli serves up fresh, clean-tasting food with vibrant herb flavors. The chicken shawarma stood out—tender, flavorful, and not greasy at all. Everything felt homemade and wholesome. It’s a great spot for a quick, satisfying bite, and the prices are fair—about $15 to $20 per person. One thing to note: tip is already included in the bill. Highly recommend.

I wasn’t planning to fall in love with a little deli off the main road in Hollywood Beach, but Etzeil Itzik Deli just hits different. It doesn’t try to impress you with decor or marketing. It just is. You walk in and instantly feel like you’ve stepped into Israel. The kind of restaurant where the food has stories and the people actually care if you’ve eaten.

This is the kind of place where regulars come in and the staff knows their order. Hebrew is floating around the room, old photos on the wall, and that smell of warm spices and fried things you didn’t know you missed until right now.

The best place for Israeli food, the lunch is a very good portion for a great price.
The waitresses are very kind and professional. Itzik, the owner, approached us and asked how everything was ok.
The lamb on Tuesday was amazing.

Simple, delicious food.
The place looks like a no frills hole in the wall but that’s a part of the charm.

The place is usually very busy

Big portions great service. We love the salads they serve on the house as soon as I sit down.

They have delicious specials they have on different days.

The small chicken (pargiyot) and kebab is a favourite.

Highly recommended if you like simple, well prepared, home-cooked, Middle Eastern food Without all the fluff.

Fresh food done right. Been here at least once a month for years. Reminds me of NYC delis where you can get and get out without too much interference or engagement. Know your order, eat, pay, move on. Wish there were more old school establishments sticking around.

Local Israeli restaurant that executes authentic flavorful dishes without any extra flare. Recommend the young chicken and falafel with a limonana. Tried the other things like the lamb kabobs and the aryes burger but that’s a good place to start. You’re welcome.
