The night started a little slow at the bar, but it got much better. We were sad to see that they no longer do the Lucky hour and that the purple drink is gone. Dante was an amazing server for our group of eight. He had a wonderful banter & kept the suggestions coming! Everything we had was amazing although the calamari, wings, and kimchi fried rice were my favorites. The decor of the entire place is very nice. The good time girl drink was everyone’s favorite but I also enjoyed the paper tiger & Mai Tai. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. If I lived in the area I’d be back!

We found this restaurant on a whim and drove from Chattanooga to come here for our anniversary, and let me just say, I would drive 2 hours again and again just for this place!! The food was incredible, the atmosphere is perfect- the music was a very r&b vibe, and the service was INCREDIBLE. Jaylen was super knowledgeable and timely; and the rest of the staff was super friendly as well! We got the curry puffs, spicy peanut noodle, shrimp wonton, calamari, and tofu hibachi- everything was a 20/10. Will definitely be back!!

We kicked off our night with the calamari, and it set the tone perfectly. 5/5 – fresh, perfectly fried, well-seasoned, and paired with a delicious dipping sauce. Easily one of the best versions I’ve had.
Next up were the Blackjack wings, coated in an amazing sauce with a subtle kick. They’re packed with flavor, but if you’re not a spice lover, consider yourself warned. For those who enjoy heat, these wings will hit every note.
For entrées, we tried both the hibachi rice and the kimchi fried rice with shrimp and chicken.
• The hibachi rice was a smaller portion compared to the kimchi rice, but still fresh, well-seasoned, and satisfying. 4/5
• The kimchi fried rice came in a noticeably larger portion and delivered bold flavor with every bite. It comes topped with a fried egg and a sauce that really elevates the dish. This one carries some spice, so it’s not ideal for spice-sensitive diners, but for everyone else, it’s a standout. 4.5/5
Overall, Blackjack Bar Tapas delivered a flavorful and memorable dining experience. Great atmosphere, generous portions, and dishes that actually deliver on taste. Would definitely come back.

The only con is that it’s INSANELY dark inside. Like I needed the flashlight on my phone just to read the menu (yes they have the menu online but I’m old school & like physical menus )
Now for the pros:
– vibes and music are great. Not loud at all so you can actually hear the ppl at your table.
– drinks are veeeery good. I got the cosmopolitan and the good time girl!
– food is shareable! So 3 or 4 plates is enough for 2 people.
– THEY VALIDATE PARKING (90 min I believe???) You have to go inside and get the validation code then enter the code when you park.

Would only recommend going for drinks not for a meal. Great interior with amazing music. Drinks were amazing and quite strong! Recommend the mango sticky rice and cucumber salad drink. The portions are very small and you will leave hungry. Ordered 3 appetizers- chicken sando, the wings, and enoki mushrooms. Chicken sando was delicious but served with extremely small portions. Wings were crispy and served with sauce that tasted like spicy ketchup, would not recommend. Enoki mushrooms were light and airy but also heavily covered in fried flour. Chicken hibachi was sweet and covered in teriyaki sauce, you can get better rice at a chinese takeout place in my opinion. Service was mediocre, but the people working in the front were extremely kind and cooperative. Overall would recommend solely as a drinking option with a few bites.

The place had a really chill vibe when I arrived, which made for a great start to the experience. The food was delicious—I ordered the 777 Platter for $37, and it was definitely worth it. My waitress, Elizabeth, was very helpful and made the visit even better. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this spot. The only funny thing was that they gave me a “donut” for my birthday that definitely wasn’t a donut , but I wasn’t mad about it at all.

Absolutely love this cute tapas restaurant! The food is phenomenal, the service top-notch, and the atmosphere is such a cool vibe. The lobster in a pot (not pictured — my husband and I couldn’t wait to dig in!), along with the hummus, fries, and fried chicken, were all outstanding. This place is officially one of my go-to spots when I’m in Atlanta.

What a fantastic eating environment with craft cocktails, easy-listening, music, dim lighting, and an exceptional team of servers and bar staff; not to mention the food is outstanding and well worth the price for the quality and amount of food you receive.
Definitely a place to go if you’re looking for a romantic place in Midtown or a speakeasy type jazz and alternative low-key atmosphere with interesting design and architecture to enhance your dining experience!
I will definitely recommend this place to my family and friends or other others while visiting the Midtown Atlanta area.

This was the best hummus I’ve ever had. We live blocks away and just popped in for a drink and a snack while bopping around. Everything sounded so good it was hard to pick a bite, but let me tell you, if the hummus is this banging I’ll eat my hat if the rest of the food isn’t excellent as well. French 75 and dirty martini were perfect and made with skill. We’re coming back for sure. You should try this place

Absolutely amazing place! My friend and I came here on a whim last night after a mime (shout out to Halloween) coaxed us into it, and we couldn’t have had a better experience. The staff is so friendly, the service was amazing, and omg the crab spring rolls? Excellent drunk food.
The drinks too!!! Our server recommended me a lovely drink after I had mentioned I like whiskey over vodka, then I sipped on a really nice IPA. 2 appetizers, one meal, and 2 drinks were also incredibly reasonably priced especially for the area. Great music choice as well. My friend and I ended up spending like 2 hours there just chatting with the staff, exchanging dog photos, and enjoying the atmosphere
Cannot recommend this place more. It’s definitely going on my list for one of my favorite places in ATL
