We had a wonderful dinner here. The food was fantastic—the garlic shrimp had the best flavor I’ve tasted in a long time, and the NY beefsteak was juicy and delicious. The chef’s special pasta was also uniquely flavorful.
What made the experience stand out was the service. Our waitress, Jima, was incredibly attentive and even replaced our cutlery and napkins twice throughout the meal. The manager, Matthew, was also very friendly and took the time to tell us a bit about the restaurant.
I’m not usually a fan of hotel restaurants, but this place was truly beyond our expectations. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in the area!
And the location/view is incredible for sure, the decoration & lights are beautiful and elegant as well

Honestly, the view is the only good thing about this place. Breakfast was buffet style. Food was not warm enough or turned all the way to keep it warm. Waiters for breakfast are nice and friendly, but they keep forgetting our drinks and I feel like they’re always rushing us to finish even when their weren’t alot of guests. Dinner, on the other hand is a DIFFERENT story. THE WORST SERVER/WAITRESS EVER. She literally gave us ” I don’t care” and “I hate my job” vibes and was NOT friendly at all. Gradituity is automatically added to the check for small parties, which, is also disappointing, because of the sevice that we received. She forgot our drink orders and 2 tables that arrived after us got all their drinks and food before us. Food is way overpriced. You can get it somewhere else.. It’s depressing, with one of the best views on the Hudson River overlooking the NYC Skyline the service and food ruins the view and the experience. We went for dinner and the positive of dining in was the view at night. BUT IT IS CLOSED, AND YOU CAN ONLY SIT IN THE BAR AREA, NO WHERE NEAR TO SEE THE NYC SKYLINE.

Great view and good service. We went for lunch and I tried the salad with steak. The portion was good and tasted pretty well. My wife got the chicken wrap. My friend also tried the vegan burger which was okay I guess.

I’m surprised by the bad reviews, my experience was 5 Star all the way. We had a staycation at Hyatt with our toddlers. The breakfast buffet was great! Staffs are attentive, food was delicious (love veggies roast and pastries session). We eat brunch at Jersey City/ Hoboken all the time. Sure, you can find something slightly cheaper around this area. But it always costs us at least $50-60, and not to mention walking in the cold if is winter time. We spent $80 here, free of charge for small kids (thank you!), all you can drink coffee/juice/tea. Adults can get something filling and savory, kids can have yogurt, fruits and anything they want (anyone who has toddlers will know it’s a challenge to make them eat). Plus an AMAZING view and not worried about being rushed. It was one of the most relaxed brunch I had for long time. Will definitely plan to come back!

Amazing view of the city. Went here with my boyfriend for our anniversary. Food was good. Service was quick at first with giving us our soup and then slowed down after we finished our soup. Other then that, it was amazing and I will be back!

Beautiful views (but the hotel should wash the windows), good services. The server was doing his best with what he had and was very kids and patient. My avocado toast and eggs were good. The buffet options were good. Pastries were slightly stale. The place is OK, fine, good, but nothing extraordinary. We went there because of early 9am breakfast option and the views.

Vu has it all, all you can eat brunch and then a lunch menu starting at 11:30A. I recommend both if you have the chance. The view of the Skyline is worth the visit. After visiting, walk the waterfront or enjoy the Hyatts seating areas. Spring is on the way.

Excellent food and beautiful views. Service was not good. My server took my drink order and never came back. I felt like she forgot about me and I didn’t get to order my food. After several minutes she asked if she took my order… Why did she have to ask? I was able to order and I eventually got to eat my breakfast. I would still come back; I just hope the service is better.

Vu is definitely an amazing restaurant. The name definitely describes the first thing you realize, which is the beautiful view of NY from the ceiling-to-floor windows.
I had the flat iron steak and it was great! I had the Creme Brûlée which was really good too. My fiancée really liked the cheesecake.
Our server was Belinda and she made the experience even greater. She was very attentive and you can tell she loves what she does. I would want her every time we come back.
