Ordered the spinach dip to start and my friend got queso dip. My dip was tasted just like hers but they took cold canned spinach and tossed a scoop in. Both were extremely watery but mine is couldn’t handle the cold spinach with soup. But then came my burrito calardo came out and had plenty of flavor and the Mexican sausage was dang good. Being a california transplant they have that authentic Mexican flavor with that sausage, But when I mentioned it to my server when asked about the dip being left on the end of table, he straight looked at me and asked ” do you know how to make it?”. Great food besides the dip but overal horrible staff experience for my first time.

El Patrón offers the best food in Clay City, hands down. I got the Chicken Quesadillas, and they were great. I had no complaints. It’s not my number one Mexican restaurant, but it’s definitely a solid choice if you’re craving authentic Mexican Cuisine. Id definitely recommend a stop here if you’re in the area!

We order from here regularly. I like the steak fajitas and we also usually get a beef taco salad. We have eaten there but prefer getting dinner to go. Food is always exactly as ordered. They are super fast and reasonably priced. A great place for Clay City

This is a clean friendly atmosphere with authentic Mexican food. I had their burrito Colorado, it was very good. It was a little spicier than I like, but it was tasty. The staff was fast and friendly. Overall, great place to eat.
