On a busy Labor day, the staff were all smiles and very professional. Our food was tasty, hot and prompt. We specifically wanted a beach with a great snack bar and we were happy with this choice. If only parking wasn’t $40!! But that’s the town. Snack bar has lovely scenery, great selection, reasonable prices, and pleasant service. Us out-of-towners will be back…mid-week! Watch out for dive-bombing seagulls!

What a clam roll! Holy cow! Absolutely delicious food, reasonably priced, great view right at the Surf Club shore. Love this place. They have ice cream too.

Beautiful strip of beach, food hut is nice with tables and palapas overlooking the water and a huge park beside it really pretty spot for a snack or an afternoon at the beach

Took the family down to surf club last night, we have eaten here many times but yesterday I have no idea what happened we got the fisherman’s platter with a lemonade (came to $44!) I don’t mind paying for great food but I am not even kidding it went right through me before I could take my daughters down to the water thank God they have bathrooms right there. Currently now my wife’s stomach is going through it at home while I’m at work.

Beautiful little restaurant right by the beach. Was there with my daughters and had a great experience over the weekend. Will be back next weekend. Fresh food. The tenders were very delicate and good. Would recommend.

Guess they are to good to let you know that you have to pay just to go in and park. Drove 1hr 20 minutes, only to be told, even if we were just going to eat we had to purchase a day pass, $10 for residents, $20 for non-residents. Would be nice to see that on their web page. Assuming one of two reasons: Tricking you to show up and feel you will just pay. Or dare I say, a way to keep certain people out!
Would have loved to have been able to review their actual food and service. But refused to pay extra just for the chance to do so!
Plenty of other restaurants in the area that seem to value potential customers.

Families, come eat here. Parking was free since we arrived after 5. A seagull grabbed one of our kids’ meals and they got us a replacement free of charge. Huge playground right to it for post meal play. Sweet staff, great location, happy kids.

M&J is exactly what it advertises. Good beach food served hot and fresh right on the beach. They have an extensive menu including fresh seafood(@market prices). You place your order at the counter and they call your number when ready. There are plenty of picnic tables and tables in the sand to eat at. The water is about 100′ away. The staff was polite and the food was really good. Great place for a sunset and an after dinner walk. We will be back.

5 star customer service, 5 star freshness and appetizing food presentation, 5 star for super delicious triple B burger, fried jumbo shrimp basket with clam belly, 5 star cleanliness, 5 star beach scenery. Then walking barefeet on the beach after a big meal is so rejuvenating. We will keep coming back to our new found go to place! I will recommend this place to all of my friends and coworkers, even to strangers if I’m asked. Everyone needs to go to this place after a long, stressful day! Believe me, you will feel lighthearted here.
