I tried the Mint Chip Oreo and it tasted good . Price to portion is okay. Debit card accepted. There are picnic tables available for sitting. Service was okay. My server, a woman who was older than the rest of the staff, seemed nervous and a little overwhelmed. The place is busy!
I recommend a visit for the ice-cream. I have not had a chance to order food.

I am beyond words. This little stand in Kensignton NH is small but certainly mighty! They serve some of the best ice cream around, have delicious grill food, and have the most polite employees. I am constantly amazed by the quick service and great value that you can find only at Twin Lanterns (really, their prices are unbeatable!) I always go for their caramel sea salt cookie when they have it. DELICIOUS!!

If candy and ice cream combinations are your jam, this is the fantasy from your childhood only now you’re an adult and no can tell you no. The CCSS; Cherry Cheesecake ice cream layered with strawberries, warm homemade shortcakes topped with whip cream, nuts, and a cherry. My favorite summary of summer desserts wrapped up in one little beautiful cup.

We used to go here all the time when we lived in Amesbury. Thought we’d take a nice little family outing with our children. Well let me tell you, we will NOT be back. It pains me to have to write this review but the customer service was HORRIBLE!!! There was a blonde girl with braided pigtails behind the window who clearly does not like her job and should be spoken to by management. She did not greet us as we all excitedly approached the window. It was evident that she had a bad attitude but this was further confirmed when she got on the loud speaker and YELLED an order number that she wanted someone to come get. The volume blew out everyone’s ear drums and the tone of her voice was downright nasty. Customers were visibly shaken by the noise and were clearly turned off by the rudeness in her voice. We almost left at this moment and didn’t give our order, but decided to stay for our kids’ sake. My sweet daughter asked for a flavor and this same girl stated rudely “I don’t have that.” Needless to say but we WILL NOT COME BACK. This girl’s behavior RUINED our whole experience and I’m sure other customers’ as well. She needs to be spoken too and possibly fired for this condescending and unkind behavior. So upsetting.

This used to be the best ice cream spot in the area. The ice cream is still good, no complaints there, but the customer service has gone way downhill. Staff were loudly shouting for the next customer even when people were clearly still deciding, and when it was my turn, my cup was slammed down and the responses I got were short and dismissive. As much as I’ve loved coming here in the past, this experience might be my last.

Friendly staff. Very tasty ice cream with large portions. One of us is very picky about run raisin and their rum raisin got a big thumbs up. Although we didn’t buy any of their menu items, aside from the ice cream, we were impressed by the selection. We left wishing we had something like Twin Lantern near us!

I have been coming here for years, but recently have noticed a sharp incline in prices and a sharp decline in staff quality. As of this season, their smallest size of hard ice cream costs $5.25. That’s absurd pricing. I don’t even come here for the hard ice cream though, I come for the vanilla/chocolate and the black raspberry/coffee soft serve that they have. The past couple of visits, they have only had vanilla. In addition to this, the staff is extremely rude. I watched them make a mistake to the party in front of me in line, and when confronted with the problem, the girl working just rolled her eyes and snapped back at the customer? All of the staff seemed annoyed that they had to serve customers at their service industry job. Disappointing to see the extreme decline in quality over the past years

I absolutely love the ice cream here—it’s always delicious! However, I can’t say the same about the customer service. The staff at the ordering windows were snappy and rude. With no one in line behind me, I placed my order but accidentally forgot to ask for sprinkles. You’d think it wouldn’t be a big deal—it’s just sprinkles, right? But the girl taking my order got visibly annoyed, huffed, and told me that next time I should mention it beforehand since it’s an extra $1. I politely offered to pay the additional dollar, but she stammered and passively dismissed me.

It’s tough to find special flavored soft serve, but this place does it amazingly! Had black raspberry and coffee yesterday. You can call and place your order ahead of time now or you can order at the counter.
