I am surprised to see that this business has such a high rating after what I experienced today. It’s a rainy Saturday at the farm, there aren’t a lot of people here, just some brave families who decided to weather the gloom for an excursion at the pumpkin patch.
We were hungry so we decided to get food first, saw the food truck and decided to get the Jack with a pumpkin pie shake and small fries. I was a little put off that the young gentleman at the register was smacking his gum, but I didn’t think much of it because he was friendly. We waited for about five minutes and figured since there was a buzzer they give you that we could walk around. We managed to get our pumpkins, kettle corn, scones, apple cider, and load it all into our car while waiting for the food. By this point, it’s been 45 minutes, and we’ve noticed the same people who were standing there when we first ordered were STILL there. We got to talking with folks, and some of the had been there for almost an hour waiting for a single burger and fries. When we finally got our food after 53 minutes, the burger we got was cold. It looked so good when we opened it, but this patty is small and cold. The fries and fry sauce are good, and so is the shake, but this burger is cold and soggy.
At one point, people standing in front of the truck were telling people to order at their own risk because they would be waiting an hour for a single order. I do recognize there were a couple of large orders before all the others, and based on how warm the fries were and how cold the burgers were I do wonder if maybe they were waiting on fries to fulfill the order. Still, I can’t get past the fact that we waited an hour for a cold burger.

They are so slow!
There was one person in front of me when I got in line.
I only ordered two things from the menu
A chicken strip basket and a milk shake
And it took 30 minutes to receive my food,
If I would have known I would be waiting so long for something as simple as a chicken strip basket I would have gone to a sit down restaurant somewhere else.
The chicken strips were nothing like I’ve had before they were as flat as a pancake and more like a big chicken nugget but small for being a “chicken strip”
The milkshake was gross my 7 year old didn’t even like it and that says a lot
The only thing good were the fries
I love sterino farms but will never eat at Jake’s burgers again and waste my time and money.

I’ve been a customer of Sterino Farms for a long time and have wanted to try this place. My partner and I split a hamburger after shopping for fall produce. The outdoor covered seating is quite nice, depending on the weather. The prices are reasonable and the burger was good.

Heard such good things about this place. Ordered 2 Jack deluxe burgers and was very disappointed. The patty is very thin and has no flavor plus it was all lettuce and huge cuts of onion and tomato also the burger was cold.

This burger will probably change your life. I’m not for sure, but are you willing to have every other hamburger you ever eat, now be less good, because all you can do is think about Jake’s burger. Why would you ever get another burger after this, I dunno maybe you like Burger King putting an ungodly amount of mayo on your burger… Maybe it really does it for you when McD’s gives you a tiny patty that’s been sitting for hours on a warming table. I DUNNO you do you. But if you want a hunk of tomato fresh off the vine, if you want a slab of lettuce so crispy you mistakingly think you were transformed into a rabbit. A burger so cheesy, chester Cheeto asked to be their mascot but he wasn’t cheesy enough. A fresh juicy, saucy amazing burger, then come to Jake’s.

It was good service. We ordered French fries . The french fries are wonderful. Very delicious and lots of them. That’s all we got but would have loved to get more. The price was more than reasonable.

This place is awesome. Everything is seasoned well. Veggies are fresh and it’s something about that bun that just pulls it all together. Oh and it’s cheap eats too. In the last 48 hrs I’ve had the Chicken Deluxe twice because the 1st time I couldn’t believe how good it was I had to go back again to make sure I wasn’t crazy. The hot dog is always delicious as usual. I didn’t eat the burger because I don’t eat pork but they said it was delicious. The current shake is the Tayberry and it’s delicious. I think it changes with whatever berry is in stock. Went back the next day and got the chicken sandwich again and the chicken strip basket and fries. All I can say is Delicious and I’m not crazy. It’s good. Warning this place can be busy and the parking can be crazy. It’s gonna be a bit of a wait because they make everything fresh. But they give you a little beeper thing that goes off when your food is ready. You can shop the fresh produce while you wait. I sometimes go inside to get a Mexican coke on the glass bottle. If you are in the area check them out you won’t be disappointed. Sorry I didn’t get pics of the chicken strip basket. I will next time. It’s worth the wait. Go get you some!

Was greeted by a nice lady, she took my order asked if i wanted any sauce and gave me a buzzer. Had a seat and before i knew it my food was ready. Burger was 10/10, Onion Rings were 10/10, cute place, lots of seating, prepare to eat in your car if it’s chilly, definitely a nice spot if your in the area.
I ordered a Jake’s Deluxe with cheese and a small onion ring for around $13.50 + tip. Burger was large i could only eat about half, Onion rings were filling and tasty! Ranch tasted like tartersauce, so I’d skip on that. Overall 9/10 happy I came on my lunch

One of my favorite places to get a burger. Great prices, considering. No puns, but they make great buns! The brioche bun is always warm, soft, and moist. Don’t forget to add bacon!
There is an outdoor, covered eating space with lots of room.
Since this is on a farm property, there are great views (and vibes). Lot of plants and fresh fruit. A 2 for 1 if you will.
Lastly…if your sweet tooth needs fixing, they have also have great shakes!

We got the beef and chicken burgers, along with fries and onion rings. They also had a vegetarian burger option.
The prices are really low. The meat burger was less than $5. It had a lot of sauce, and flavor. The chicken was good too. I didn’t care much for the fried, but loved the onion rings.
There is outside benches and tables, and bathrooms as well.
Worth stopping by.
