They have this new order kiosk thing here to make ordering super quick and easy, best Chinese food spot in the cities by far. The owner/cook is so friendly, nice, and quick to make things right. Example I ordered something I didn’t intend to and he swapped it for me without hassle. This place is amazing. Great atmosphere and friendly staff oh plus the amazing food! 10/10 would recommend

I recently visited New Panda House, a Chinese restaurant in New Hope, Minnesota, to satisfy my craving for what I consider traditional Amercanized Chinese food. I had received their menu in the mail, and when I opened it at the table, I was impressed by the extensive list of options.
We decided to try a few dishes: the Shanghai spring rolls, cream cheese wontons, pork fried rice (a classic I use to judge any Chinese restaurant), and sweet and sour pork.
The sweet and sour pork was absolutely spot-on—delicious and perfectly cooked. The pork fried rice was flavorful and did not disappoint. The cream cheese wontons were enormous and perfectly fried, earning a big thumbs-up from me. However, the Shanghai spring rolls were a letdown. The filling was too mushy and bland for my taste, though I liked the idea of them.
Overall, while the restaurant is undeniably a dive, it delivers on good food. We’ll definitely be back for more!

One of my go to places. If you don’t order ahead you will wait a while. However the food is always fresh, hot and good. I have noticed the price has gone up over the past year but you do get more then other places.

Great price for the quantity and quality of food you get. My delivery arrived warm and on time. I placed the order on their website and followed up with a call to confirm it was received and to get an estimated delivery time. They assured me the order was being prepped and would arrive in 15-20 minutes.
This restaurant serves what I’d call classic Chinese-American comfort food. Great for lunch at the office on a cold day. I ordered from their Luncheon Specials and enjoyed the wonton soup and kung pao chicken, the latter of which was balanced and tasty, not too sweet or acidic, and allowed the rich flavor of the mushrooms to come through. The chicken teriyaki was also good—typical chicken skewers you see at Chinese buffets—but they were a bit bland and undercooked for my taste; I like it fried a bit longer so it’s crispy, and would’ve liked more salt or seasonings.
To be 5-star for me, they would need to improve the flavor of their luncheon items a bit; the chicken teriyaki and curry chicken were both greasy and somewhat bland. Overall, it was clear they put great thought and care into their food and service though, and you get both at super agreeable prices.
I look forward to trying their Chef’s Specialties, moo shu and other chicken dishes someday in the future. Thank you!

I ordered DoorDash…DD has phenomenally good people. My order arrived fast and still screaming hot (IYKYK). Everything looked, smelled and tasted delicious! The Shrimp with Lobster Sauce was garlicky with nice big shrimp! The Boneless Spare Ribs were juicy and flavorful! The Pork Egg Foo Yung was everything I hoped it would be! Well Done Panda House!
