It’s a laid back establishment, a drinking place, ive not had an opportunity to try their menu seeing as every time I drop in, they are not serving food…. regardless, the barstaff is nice, and they allow competetors dishes. There’s pool tables upstairs. Dartboards. Dj night etc.

visited this place on a quiet Tuesday night around 9 PM, hoping for a relaxed evening. Unfortunately, I was disappointed right from the start when they didn’t have the ingredients for an amaretto sour, which was a letdown. I decided to go for the wings and shoestring fries, but they didn’t quite hit the mark either. The wings were just okay, and the fries were overcooked both took a long time to arrive. The music was another issue—loud and a random mix that didn’t create a pleasant atmosphere. I’m not a fan of gangster rap, so that definitely didn’t help. What really threw me off was seeing someone smoking inside the kitchen doorway, which is definitely not what you want to see in a place serving food.On the bright side, Zack, the bartender, was quick and attentive, doing his best to keep things running smoothly despite the issues. While I doubt I’ll return, don’t let my experience deter you entirely. Maybe I just caught them on an off night.

Went for the first time while traveling on Friday night. Had a $25 bar tab and left a cash tip, the next morning saw that I was charged $50. They fixed it after a couple of days but if I hadn’t looked at my transactions, they would’ve tipped themselves 100% for “ok” service.

Edit: when I called the following day and mentioned the $50 charge, there was no mention of the preauthorization. Changed to 3 stars because I fully support small businesses & transparency. A sign regarding the $50 charge would be a nice touch, if not already there! Thanks for the reply.

Our bartender/mixologist (Zack I think his name was) was great. We let him make whatever drink he wanted and they all hit the spot. The place smelled of heavy smoke and that was the only thing I disliked about it. It was a nice vibe!

Just what I needed… 32 years of service and not really social, but went there this “one time” and ran into other veterans… very chill and social atmosphere! Some of the friendliest bartenders I’ve ever met. A very welcoming diverse atmosphere… thank you Cesar, DJ, Scottie and Q♥️

DO NOT GO HERE!

Bartenders charge gratuity without telling you beforehand. Place was almost dead, with 2 bartenders. One bartender basically ignored me the entire time I was there, other one was friendly and checked on me, but after I inquired about pool tables upstairs she informed me that there was a bar up there and asked if I would close out. She then charged me a gratuity without asking or me even seeing the bill before she took my card. Funny part is, that Is would have tipped her more than the gratuity, had she not done that, knowing how slow it was for her and the other bartender. I mean, the one bartender was playing on her phone she was so bored half the time. Place overall lacked atmosphere and I will not return.

Update: So I checked my bank account, and it appears the bartenders tipped themselves another $10 on my tap, after I was charged a 30% gratuity. So, they basically scammed me out of $15.

Good place to hang out. Not much of a crowd in all the times I have been. Staff is friendly and quick to tend to your drink needs. Pool tables could be more level and ques better taken care of. Bring your own if you can. Dart boards are not set to regulation height. All 3 vary. Still would go back.

Visited on a Thursday which was lady’s night, so drinks were literally dirt cheap. All 3 of the bartenders were awesome and super friendly. Only 4 stars because it didn’t mention smoking bar online, and I walked out smelling horrible like cigarettes. Needed to wash my hair twice. Overall a good experience though.

The Pointe is a staple of Conyers. I usually go on Fridays and Saturdays. The bartenders are great. The new cooks and the new menu items are great. I got a burger and fries and this was one of the best burgers I’ve had. The patty was seasoned to perfection, cooked to order, and juicy. The fries were seasoned and crisp on the outside with a soft and fully cooked inside! If you were here in the past and we’re sure you’ve got to come back out. With the change in ownership it has changed from its past reputation. If you know you know. The next inside has been fixed up some and they keep doing more. The new food items are a great bonus for the booze nights. I’m looking the new and improved Pointe Bar .
