Just an overall pleasant experience. The service, the cleanliness and especially the food all surpassed expectations. Ran into them at the mermaid market and had to get more. This location did not disappoint, although no alcohol was available. Head to #2 for that and what im looking forward to as a much bigger place with a full bar. Still, there’s something special and unique about the small, personal setting here. Will definitely return when the occasion arisses.

HOLY SMOKED COW! This was some of the best BBQ of my life, no joke. Note I did not say “best Texas style BBQ” I said best BBQ, period. Every sauce was better than the last, the house tequila BBQ sauce was so good I bought a bottle and I *never* buy house sauces. Pickled onions with a rosemary aroma, incredible. Family run business and they take care and pride not only in the food but the service. Just go here and get some awesome BBQ already!

Stopped in here based on a recommendation from our Airbnb host and ordered the whole menu! Every single slice/cut of meat was tender to the bone.
The ribs were my #1 followed by the sausage and pulled pork. The chicken was a surprise considering I’m not a huge fan of BBQ chicken and the pork belly was also a sleeper. I was not expecting all that flavor to be packed in every bite.
And don’t forget the fry bread! They give you such a huge piece with so many toppings!

We found out about this restaurant from one of the workers while in town. Glad we decided to try it out. My hubby and I shared the Brisket Sandwich that comes with fries and the Pulled Pork Sandwich which comes with coleslaw and pickled onions. Very good! The portion sizes are perfect and the food was seasoned to perfection. We both had an Arnold Palmer which was really good as well. We’ll be back when in town again. Forgot to snap pics. I was too excited to eat! Next time. . .

The BBQ here is so delicious! After nearly a month of staying down here in Rocky Point, we were really craving some food from back home! And this Texas style BBQ place totally hit the spot!! PLUS they had yummy sopapillas, which we have found is nearly impossible to find in Mexico or Baja. It’s a cute little western themed family owned restaurant and the owners sons Bruno and Dominic were an absolute delight to talk to! I know we will definitely being going back to eat lunch or dinner here and probably try out the breakfast as well!! Side note, they have no liquor license, so you can BYOB and they have karaoke on the back patio on Friday nights! No website, but check them out on FB!

Go in!! Great BBQ place, food was delicious. We were looking for a place to eat and this came up in Google map and when we got there I was a bit skeptical, but totally a hole in the wall. Great food, kids love it, I loved my salad, staff was welcoming and friendly and attentive!

We had the entire place for ourselves. Owner was super friendly and showed us around the backyard and the patio.
Food was excellent – brisket, ribs, burrito – everything was delicious and the home made condiments are awesome.

Ate at their temp. setup at the Mermaid Market and it was fantastic, went to their restaurant and ate again and they made us feel like family!!! Ribs, Mashed potatoes and coleslaw also had a pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw, pickled red onions, the BBQ beans were great. Service and family is as great as it gets. Our server was the younger son who was very attentive, and oh so polite. Just Go!!!

Pork ribs were tender and moist. Beef ribs most and much larger than I usually find in the States. 5 homemade sauces make the choosing difficult, so I ate all of them. Bruno arranged them on the table from most to least spicy to avoid confusion. There was habanero, apricot habanero, chipotle, house, and blackberry bourbon. Seriously, I ate all of them. They did tend towards sweet but had enough heat to counteract. They also brought me a sopapilla at the end, again homemade dough with an apricot sauce and powdered sugar. Turmeric lemonade was different and I liked the change.

Delicious!!! Very good and friendly. I had the pork belly sandwich, coleslaw, bbq beans. Very tasty!!! They have 5 homemade sauces from sweet to spicy. Coca-cola products. Oh while we were enjoying our meal the owner brought out a biscuit drizzled with honey and invited us to breakfast. We were so impressed. They have karaoke on Friday nights. We will be back. Yum! Thank you for the wonderful service.
