I admit I used to eat here..until their phone system went down and I went in the back like an Inspector for St. Louis City!!! I get in in the back, the lady making ya’ll St. Paul, cracks the egg put in pan bare hands, then go grab your lettuce with the same hand not washed. I look to my right, rat feces all in the metal pans on floor and a pan of gizzards sitting on the floor. I look in the camera and we coming in like roaches, I was like Noooo go back out!!!☣️ 2026 we have to Demand better from these restaurants, they don’t inspect them like they used to do and I know ya’ll not just eating anything outhere?! I will Never go back to this Chinese restaurant

Do not eat here. This is the absolute worst Chinese food in the city. Food was luke warm, mushy and falling apart chemical aftertaste. The guy that answered yelled at me and hung up the first time I got an answer the second time someone else answered and was chill but they really seem like they didn’t want to be there. The building is gross, it smells gross the food is gross save your money and just go to Kim Van.

My husband and one of his guys that works for him have been working in the area and has pretty much eaten here everyday/every other day for lunch. It’s so good!!!! He brings me some home every time. We get the General Tso’s Chicken and Chicken Fried Rice. It’s just a little place (I never would’ve found) but so very good! I went this last time with him and they stayed pretty steady with take out orders.

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever been to. The customer service is outstanding. The food is outstanding. I absolutely love it here. They are always busy. They pride themselves on fresh ingredients and customer service. I highly recommend this place.

This place is below BELOW average FOR Chinese food! They take out basic ingredients as much as possible and charge for extras that other places give for free! Be very careful and demand extras without being charged! They really act like they don’t like “the people” they serve. I’m only 2 blocks away and I won’t go to them ever again l!!

I just now called to ask about delivery (at 8:25pm) and was told that no they don’t deliver and then was immediately hung up on. Really?? My second question would have been “Do you ever deliver? Or what times DO you deliver?” But I obviously didn’t get any answers to determine any future business because I was hung up on. That’s so incredibly rude. If the woman who answered the phone hadn’t hung up on me I would have still ordered food and I would have driven over to pick it up, but as it stands her customer service was terrible…IT ONLY TAKES ONE MOMENT to lose a customer. Hong Kong Express was very unprofessional and so I won’t make any future attempt to be their customer, nor will I give them any positive reviews or referals. Word of mouth referrals are good for business, but you’ve lost mine. Lastly, the entire reason I called them in the first place was because I saw a vehicle on my block last week with a Hong Kong Express sign. Confusing…since from what I was told before being hung up on…They don’t deliver.
