Los Gueros (on the corner of Vine and Lindsey) is my favorite for breakfast tacos. Pictured on the left is the chorizo egg taco and on the right is a spicy potato, egg, and bean taco. Both on grilled flour tortillas. That’s morita sauce over the top of the one on the right.
Folks, there are (at least) two awesome things going on here! The first is that they have amazing beans that you pay a little bit for and they’re all you can eat. The other thing is they have a salsa bar! This is an amazing selection of sauces, including five or six different self-yourself salsas. To my knowledge is the only Morita sauce in town, and you can buy any of their salsas to go!
I’m also pretty crazy about their posole (see image) and their puerco guisado is some of the best I’ve had! And their enchilada plates have all the trimmings and they are very filling. Awesome! 5 stars!

Being from out of town… recently moved from Houston. We’ve been on the look out for an ‘AUTHENTIC’ Mexican breakfast… as it promises. We hopped in for breakfast to try their Huevos Rancheros. You order at the counter, pay, grab your drinks and have a seat. Ordered 2 plates of Huevos Rancheros add bacon to both. One water and one coffee… $28 was a bit pricey for breakfast for two. Once we received our order… we were a bit disappointed. No REAL papas (potatoes)! Served with crinkle cut fries?… Authentic? Where? The tortillas didn’t even taste AUTHENTIC? The food we were served tasted ok, but faaarrrrr from authentic as it claims. Reason for the 3 Stars… we will NOT be back! If I wanted crinkle cut fries, could have pulled that outta my freezer at home.

Nice environment with friendly helpful waitresses. Tortilla soup was amazing. Good flavor and lots of chicken. The rices was fluffy and perfect to be thrown in the soup. Big slices of avocado top off this meal.

This place is ridiculously expensive for what’s on the menu. For a family of 4 we paid almost $70 for breakfast burritos… just burritos! The food was good but to each their own, not worth it for the price.

First time here. Ordered beef fajitas. The meat looks and tasted, dry, stale, chewy. Could not even swallow it. Did not try the beans or rice on the plate after that and threw everything away. Four star places do not usually disappoint but for that $15+ price and that kind of food. I will not be back.

Have eaten here for years and always enjoyed it – drive thru or dine in – back in town for the day so ate lunch – I had green chilaquiles with carne asada and it was great – have tried most of the menu at one time or another and never been disappointed – great food and friendly staff
