We dropped into LandShark Bar & Grill during our Lake Tahoe getaway, and it was such a fun and tasty experience! The buffalo shrimp totally blew us away—it was bursting with bold, spicy flavor and cooked perfectly. It’s a must-try if you’re here!
My family gave the Philly cheese sub a shot, and while opinions were a bit split, it was still good overall. The real stars of the table were the hot wings—crispy, juicy, and absolutely delicious. Plus, the fries were fantastic, super crispy and full of flavor, and the blue cheese dip was rich and tangy, the perfect partner for those spicy wings.
A huge shoutout to Amber, our server, who was simply amazing! She was upbeat, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. Her friendly vibe definitely made our visit even better.
One thing to note is that they do add a gratuity charge and a tourism tax to the bill, so just be prepared for that when you’re tallying up your meal.
The atmosphere at LandShark is lively and full of energy, yet still relaxed enough for a family meal. We’re already talking about coming back on our next Lake Tahoe trip—can’t wait to dive into more of their tasty menu!

Good food with a good portion size. Had the poke bowl which was a little spicy. Also got the loaded Landshark lager which was the beer with a tequila shot. I just combined them in the glass and sipped it. Spinach and artichoke dip was also good.

Food was perfect! I had the hot honey chicken and my husband had the fish & chips. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious! Our server Stephanie was wonderful to talk with at the bar and very friendly. We will definitely be coming back over and over!

This place was great and considering inside a hotel was a nice gem.
The patio is gorgeous and if the weather is nice it’s perfect.
I got the buffalo shrimp (a little saucy tbh) but very tasty and fish tacos (huge portions and cooked well).
Margaritas were of course great too.

Here on vacation and we expected higher prices at a Margaritaville restaurant, but prices weren’t terrible. I got the chicken salad and was very disappointed. It was basically flavorless. Everyone else at the table got burgers and they were all very good. We sat outside so it was a great atmosphere. The staff was friendly and efficient. It’s worth giving it a try if in South Lake Tahoe.

Amanda was our server she was nice but the food and drinks were not. We got two margaritas which we assumed had to be good at Margaritville… we were wrong. The only drink that was okay was the bloody mary. The margaritas were straight juice and syrup. We also ordered a bottle Modelo which came out warm… we asked for a cold one and our server said they don’t chill anything including bottles and glasses. We said, “So you don’t pour draft beer in a chilled glass” and she said “these glasses don’t even chill” we were shocked that the restaraunt would still use these and continue to not chill beer. She had to bring us an ice bucket which clearly didn’t chill it, we only ordered nachos thankfully because we didn’t want to be disappointed further, the salsa was like ketchup. Good music though.

Ordered the tropical steak tacos and the crispy shrimp basket. The tacos are good. The chips taste like costco tortilla chips and the salsa tastes like it came straight out of a jar. The shrimp taste like they came straight from the freezer and they were greasy. Fries were fine. We didn’t order any drinks although they looked good.
I may come back another time to try some other options but was underwhelmed by this meal.
