5 stars for our waitress Tanisha! She greeted us with a bright smile and treated us kindly throughout our time here.
As we were sitting at our table we noticed the fan was blowing too much cool air our way. I kindly asked the hostess if she could turn off the fan. She stated she could not turn off the fan but instead could move us to another table without a fan above us. We agreed… Although we were grateful, she did not communicate this to our waitress nor the other waitress who was servicing the new table.
The new waitress walked over with disgust in her eyes and irritable tone asking us why we were sitting there. We kindly explained and she walked off with an attitude. We then explained what had occurred to Tanisha who was very kind and understanding.
The food presentation was just okay. We ordered chicken Benedict and croissant sandwich. It was average, nothing to brag about.
Overall the experience was just okay. Communication is lacking between hostess and wait staff. The second waitress was rude and that put a damper on the visit.
We are traveling here from out of state and noticed that customer service is lacking across Tampa. Most places we go people seem angry for no reason at all…

Wanted to go get a nice breakfast. It was good but I would say average. Nothing stood out except the hash browns! They were cooked perfectly with a nice crunch. The heuvos rancheros was a little disappointing because the tortilla chips were overcooked. Our server was very nice.

I’m not sure why this place was so good we weren’t hungover. We did get up early for the 1.5hr flight to Tampa, but we don’t normally eat breakfast. We decided to go just because we were up early on a Tuesday. And it was a great choice man! The food was so good! We both got the same plate, so I don’t bother taking pictures of both plates. But the food was good, the OJ was good, the service was good. Zero complaints. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

First visit was on point. Early Sat am greeted and seated quickly.
Food came out quickly and was delicious. Had coffee and iced tea. Service was great including refills.
Easy in/out parking lot. Be conscience of some of the parking spots that are 15 minutes only and some are for compact cars.
I would suggest giving this location, a try and leave a rating to help others .

My third visit here, but for the first time to pick up a work luncheon.
Downside was that the online order could not be done the day before, but the staff was so courteous and kind.
Called in two times (once to find out that I can’t pre-order the day before and the second time to make a note of dietary restrictions.
The staff did miss it, but fixed it asap!
Would be great if you could make a note online – I couldn’t find it.
However, we didn’t know what to expect in terms of size of the family platters we order – and let me tell you – the chicken tenders did not disappoint the team!

I wouldn’t have known the prime example of an immaculate experience if I hadn’t stepped foot at Metro Diners.
Service was top tier. The server, Lili, was both attentive and knowledgeable.
Fried Chicken and Waffles was just the right amount of savory sweet.
Mimosa was refreshing and of good taste.
Diner was spot on clean, never seen anything like it.
Will definitely be coming back!

They said they use fresh eggs however there were absolutely NO EGG WHITES in my eggs . This means they probably use an egg liquid mixture. Very disappointing. Biscuit was very hard as well

The food was fantastic, the service was incredible and the atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. The metro dine has a great menu for everyone and food with flavor! Whether you’re having their breakfast or lunch, the food here is fresh and flavorful. Our drinks stayed full, our table was checked on often. I would definitely recommend to stop here for any meal of the day. The restaurant has large booths and tables that are family friendly. Our waitress Janya made some wonderful recommendations from the menu!! Make sure you ask for her section when you come in! You won’t be disappointed! She even made up the restaurant’s special sauce right at the table for the chicken and waffles. Super yummy!!

Wonderful restaurant with fantastic food and great service! Visiting Tampa for the weekend, we went on Saturday for breakfast and it was so good we went back on Sunday as well. We tried the fish and chips and the southwest scramble bowl on Saturday, both were delicious! On Sunday we tried the salmon and the San Francisco Benedict – excellent choices!
