The restaurant is clean and inviting. The staff is friendly. It doesn’t have any particular ambience, but that is not its purpose. You get good, old-fashioned, southern home cooking at a very reasonable price with plenty of great seating in a friendly atmosphere.

I finally had a chance to stop in this new business for breakfast and had a breakfast croissant sausage egg and cheese it was made to order with a good cup of coffee, I was very pleased. I have eaten in this establishment with the previous business and always had a good experience but the establishment with the new facelift was very appealing and I cannot wait to try their cafeteria style lunch.

We have eaten at Soul Southern Eatery several times and throughly enjoyed every bite! Cafeteria style with many choices.
Fried chicken, Hamburger Steak, Fried Pork Chops, Lasagna, Chopped Pork with fried okra, green beans, fried squash, mash pot & gravy, fried green tomatoes, mac&cheese, slaw just to name a few we’ve tried. All taste like Mama cooked- fresh, delicious with nice portions!
The cobblers, desserts and doughnuts look scrumptious!
The employees are fast, friendly and very kind to all that walk through the doors.
We look forward to many more good meals at Soul Southern Eatery!

I Have lived in Talladega over 25 years and I swear this is the best experience hands down I have had at a restaurant .Those ladies serving, you are so sweet. Love the music playing as you walk in the door a beautiful atmosphere. The food was hot. And the price you can’t beat!
