River Stone has quickly became one of our favorite restaurants. The pulled pork nachos are honestly one of my favorite things to eat. Today we came in for Valentines Day. We got the lamb app, I dont eat lamb but my husband does. He loved it, and I actually tried it and was pleasantly surprised with how good it was ! Its a bit on the higher end but its a holiday so we splurged.
He got the salmon burger for an entree and i got the steak fries. Everything was great and tasty. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend and we will be back.

We had the pleasure of dining here this evening, and Isabella provided us with excellent service. The mahi-mahi,crab cake, and cajun pasta were truly delicious, and all of our companions thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We certainly plan to return and highly recommend this establishment. 10/10

Stopped here with my daughter and husband for dinner while visiting from out of town. We went for an early dinner on a Saturday night and were seated right away without a reservation. We shared the crabdip, which was delicious. My husband had the salmon BLT, my daughter had the. Chicken pesto sandwich, and I had the pulled pork sliders with sweet potato fries. Everything was fantastic. I had a strawberry crush which was super tasty. The service was prompt and friendly. Definitely recommend.

I really like the place. As far as atmosphere and camaraderie. You can tell right away it’s bringing a lot of people in hanging out spending time sharing memories and decompressing for the week. Or just decompressing for a day. Good atmosphere great staff. But I’m here to rate the food. First let’s start with the steakhouse chili. Presents well. Great presentation. Looked good. But there was one problem. It didn’t taste like chili. When I get my chili I want a taste of chili spice, maybe some cumin, maybe some cinnamon. The flavor profile never came together. Next the polpette parmesan. I guess a fancy way to say meatballs and marinara and cheese. Average taste. Nothing to go to war for. Cheese should have been melted more. Next is the Broccoli Berchetta Stuffed Fried Chicken. Ummm. Yeah. Again as with other dishes great description. Average dish. Nothing tied in. The French Dip. Made with pot roast. Took chance but what was i thinking. I should have just got pot roast on white bread. Bad texture. Grainy. Dry. Chunky. Its like they want to be known for their pot roast then avoid waste by shoving it in multiple recipes. Finally the Tony D. No pictured because I was ready to leave but the sandwhich is only as good as the roll its on and the roll sucked. I have seen better Italian subs put together by the second shift at WaWa on a Tuesday night.

So. Overall with food. Fancy names. Great descriptions. Nice presentation. Average taste No blending of multiple ingredients for a full satisfied palate. Stirkes me as a place run as a business not a restaurant. Margins and economics not great food.

Will be back to eat one more time. Will get food. If same result will become a place for a drink and to people watch

We had the most delicious pot roast! So flavorful with tender beef & savory broth. Plus, a delicious white & dark chocolate cake for dessert! Our server was kind & attentive. We enjoyed every part of our experience here. It’s a relaxing & casual vibe.

I meet with friends every other month for dinner. Due to the distance between us, we try to stay in the White Marsh/middle River area is about the same for all of us. We google. We look at reviews. And sometimes we just pick a place. Today was just pick a place and what a great surprise. River Stone is the real deal . Bar with happy hour drink and food specials and a dining room on the other side. We ended up in the bar section. We had the loveliest bar tender/server. Polite and attentive and engaging.

We shared the crab bruschetta, perfectly crunchy little pieces of baguette covered with flavorful bruschetta and topped with crab. I had the spicy shrimp tacos and a side of coleslaw slaw. Delicious shrimp in a larger taco shell with a most delectable sauce. Two were plenty for me. Cole slaw was tasty and just eight; enough mayo but not swimming in it. My friends loved their food. We told the server as well as the owner what a gem of a place they have. I will be back when I get back ro that area. I only took 1 picture and it was of my Key Lime creamsicle crush. Tart and creamy with just the right amount of sweet. Lip smacking good.

Do yourself a favor and go!

This was our second trip to the restaurant. We had lunch a week ago and decided to try dinner. It was Saturday around 5:40 when we arrived. We were seated promptly, it was not that crowded. My wife had the stuffed salmon and I had the pork chop offering. We both thoroughly enjoyed our dinners, especially my wife. Our server was friendly, timely and checked on us at just the right interval. Unlike some restaurants, their bar actually made a great drink. We definitely will go back after two good visits.

Steamed mussels is good. Grilled fish with crabmeat is overcooked. Crab cake is fine, but the fries are over greasy. Overall is so so.

My daughter had the salmon and also said it was delicious. My daughter’s boyfriend had Sushi it was prepared beautifully but not my thing. Everyone had delicious food & great service. I would definitely recommend you try it out!

Met a friend here for the first time, neither one of us had been there. We sat at the bar. The overall first impression was, this looks like a nice place, plenty of seating. Sadly it needed there. Upon sitting at the bar, the bartender acted out out. He tossed the menus in the bar. At first we just chalked it up as he was having a bad day. We were kind and respectful. My friend ordered a Strawberry Creamsicle crush, we noticed the bartender was making it with whipped cream, he put ice and then whipped cream. Then topped the drink with whipped cream. We tried to stop him as my friend is allergic to dairy, she shouldn’t have ordered it if we knew it had whipped cream. In other establishments it’s usually a whipped flavored vodka. When he walked back over to put the drink down my friend apologized and explained that she had an allergy and couldn’t have the drink, she asked him to make a new one without the whipped cream stating she would pay for both drinks. He was angry. He didn’t say anything but snatched the drink and aggressively threw it away and made her a new one. We thanked him and ordered food. Through the evening his attitude remained the same to us. He was friendly and smiled at the couple who were next to us who were leaving. Our food arrived without issue. I was disappointed in the portion size of the salmon on my salad but it was yummy. After our food arrived he never did check back on us. As a matter of fact neither of the female bartenders did either. We needed to flag someone down to get our check. The overall experience wasn’t a great first impression. Not sure I’d give them a second try as it’s 30 minutes away from me and I have to pass several other restaurants that treated me with more respect.
