I have been visiting Rice & Noodles since 2008, when I started coming to Akron, PA for work trips. Since the very first time, Pho and spring rolls have been my to go food, here. You can never go wrong with these classic Vietnamese dishes at R&N, but they also have plenty of excellent choices. On top of that, the service is wonderful and the place is always super clean.
I also love their family story and how they ended up in Lancaster .
If you are a local or visiting the area, make sure you give this place a try, you will keep coming back like I do for years to come! 🙂
If you are closer to downtown Lancaster, you can visit Sprouts of Rice & Noodles – the same great food and service.

The place was very clean. We normally go to another Vietnamese restaurant but decided to try this one out since it’s the same distance. The food was ok overall (we did do take out). The pho was ok not tons of flavor or quantity, and didn’t have any of the extra spicy sauces that you put in, spring rolls were average but the egg roles were SO good! But we ordered the kids chicken and vermicelli noodle and it didn’t look or taste like any we’ve have before. Will probably stick to our place further out of the city but definitely not a bad option

Outstanding, authentic Vietnamese food! I’ve enjoyed dining in several times, but I recently had a catered event, and I was equally pleased. Loads of vegan options!

Unopened. And dude, it’s so little food for takeout. Come on. You should fill this up. It’s 1/3 empty. You raised the prices from the menu online then gave us 1/3 as much. Ripoff. Do better. Next time fill it up.

One of the best places in Lancaster. We generally get take out as the place is rather small and getting a seat at dinner time can be difficult. If we do eat in, the staff is ALWAYS super friendly.
The Pho is incredible as are their spring rolls which are super fresh. The peanut sauce? I could straight up drink it, it’s that good.

My friend and I went here to exchange Christmas gifts and grab a bite to eat. The service was very nice and friendly. We went grabbed a menu and ordered at the counter when we were ready. The food came out in a timely matter. I got the bun bo xao and add 2 egg rolls. I wasn’t impressed with the egg rolls. I’ve had a lot better. They were slightly sour tasting. The rice noodles and beef were pretty decent. I’d might go back just to see what their other food is like. I don’t know. I’d say that overall the place was decent. My friend got the wonton soup and she felt the same way and said the food was “decent”.

The food was wonderfully prepared and tasty. I had vegetarian CM2/Com Chiem. The tofu had a soft crunch as I bit into it. The portion size was excellent— not excessive. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, with soft music playing in the back ground. The dining area and the kitchen both seemed very clean.
