I had steamed oysters and their smoked wings. The oysters were a little gritty, but tasty and priced below their competitors. The smoked wings are exclusive to this location, which is why I chose it. The wings were *really* smoky, so if you like that taste, you’ll get it aplenty! The bar area is a tad small, and can be a tad loud if many people are talking. They have seating inside and on the side of the building. There’s some free parking out front, but they typically are always taken. Overall, I really like this chain of restaurants – they have good food and great prices.

The original Frenchy’s! This location is also fairly small but had a decent amount of seating. Our waitress was very attentive and was constantly checking on us and giving us suggestions on what’s popular or what to order when we unsure. I came with family and we ordered frozen margaritas to finish our passport as well as the snow crab fries. I think about these fries every single day since having them. They were AMAZING! And decently filling too.

This is a great restaurant and bar with tasty seafood and an old-school vibe. The place is small, so expect to have to wait for a table. The menu features a wide variety of food, though the seafood seems to be the star. We tried the crab fries and they were absolutely delicious. The street corn was also quite tasty. They do daily specials on food and beer, and prices in general are relatively affordable. They are kid friendly as well, and our daughters enjoyed their chicken tenders. Service was friendly and our food came out relatively quickly despite it being busy.

Seat yourself at the bar or one of the booths/tables. We ordered the Old School Grouper Sandwich, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Tenders Basket, Piña Colada and Jalepeno Hush Puppies. The grouper sandwich was flaky, crispy and well-seasoned. Hush puppies were fantastic. The chicken tenders were close to the best I’ve ever had and the fries are addicting. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich was poorly constructed. It’s two tenders, tossed in buffalo sauce. The sauce soaked into the bread and the bread practically disintegrated. If the sandwich held together I have no doubts it would be amazing. The piña colada tasted like coconut milk; but some may like it like that. The sauce with the hush puppies was phenomenal. Definitely would come back. Great atmosphere, Great food and Great Service.

Pretzel is really fun shaped like a fish. Crab fries are a must try. Cuban was really good and has a nice mustard dressing on the side. Soup was great. So was the dessert.

The place was recommended due to nightly specials. We went on a Monday which was burger night. My friend had the burger and fries special.
I had the shrimp po boy with hush puppies, and garlic crab fries. The crab fries were awesome. The po boy was tasty.

I’ve lived in Florida for over 20 years and still had not gone to Frenchy’s. We finally made it in! It was amazing! The service was perfect and efficient. The food was so spot on perfect. I had the roasted corn bowl and the flavors were perfection in a bowl. My husband had the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was perfect. The fries were delicious and we also had a Greek salad as an appetizer. I cannot wait to return and eat and try more of the menu. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for some great food, atmosphere and true Clearwater Beach.
