Soooo… we have not been here in probably two years, and won’t be back in the future. The food is ok, when it used to be great, but the service was trash.
We arrived and were sat promptly(only good service we had). The waitress we had was in charge of five table when we arrived, but three when she actually spoke to us for the first time. It was about 10 minutes until our server spoke to us. She forgot various items consistently including steak sauce, peanuts, drink refills. Each time she left, it would take her 3-5 minutes for her to return.
We ordered the New York strip steak, original, with garlic mashed potatoes and garden side salad. The steak was pretty average, not excellent, but not bad at all. The rolls taste a little stale. The garlic mashed potatoes were awful, so we traded them out for sweet potatoes which was good. The side salad was too simple, and no croutons.
My wife also ordered a Shirley Temple, but did not receive any cherries. The waitress took five minutes to return with the cherries.
Overall the atmosphere was fine, but I miss the peanuts shells on the floor.

Last time I was at this place was about 15 years ago. So good to see that this place is still here and doing well, or seems to be. I came back with my husband, and the food is good or even better than I can remember. There is no peanut shells all over the floor, but oh well. Peanut in the bags are still offered at the entry. Love it! I had the combo shrimp and baby back ribs. My husband had the barbecue chicken, and he has no complaints. I had forgotten how good the food was. The shrimp on the skewer is delicious. We’ll definitely come back and I’ll try the salmon next.

Our family has loved this place for over 40years. The food has always been excellent. Even the fresh hot Rolls that immediately melt your butter right in to the dough. Must save room for the messy Sunday after dinner.

We have always loved their food! And now my teenager loves their food and it was the one place he wanted to go for his birthday. It would’ve been nice if when I called in the morning to be sure and make a reservation for 7-9 people and I was told by the lady who answered the phone there “No no not at all at that time”. We waited almost an hour on my kids birthday with people coming and they had to wait so that was a bit disappointing to be told that when in fact she should’ve made my reservation! So always make your reservation regardless of what they tell you!

Misleading Menu Picture Online…
The picture of the menu online says the Cowgirl Cut 10oz Prime Rib is $26.99 (show in attached picture). When we arrived and ordered our dinner the in house menu has the same plate listed for $33.99.
I presented the menu online price to the server and asked if they would honor the online price, she said no. I asked her to bring this matter to the manager, the server said “of course”. We ordered our meals but never heard from the manager and upon completion of our meal we received our bill with the $33.99 price.
I am sure this is just an administration mistake, but do to the fact that we felt blown off, we will not be visiting in the future.

The food is not bad. The interior of the restaurant is really rundown. Cobwebs on some of the window woodwork. Table tops worn through the finish down to raw wood. It just doesn’t look very clean. Roadhouse has been there for close to 30 years and I would guess it’s never been freshened up or remodeled. It is a case of Owners needing to see what it looks like and then putting the capital into upgrading it. The exterior also needs a makeover too. The food was decent enough and my wife liked her NY steak a lot. And our waitress was great.

What a fantastic place such a gem. We sat in the Bar it was a Saturday night food came out perfect and nice and hot and great tasting. I have to say I’ve been too a ton of steakhouse type places from über fancy to road houses. And everything in between. I always have issues getting my steak cooked right and they nailed it perfectly so I have to give them props in that. Getting a steak cooked the way you like it shouldn’t take a genius.

I had the salmon and it was phenomenal. The service was great. I enjoyed this restaurant and wull definitely be back. Others in my group had the prime rib and it was scrumptious! The sides were on point, broccoli cooked too perfection, garlic mashed potatoes for the win! The prices were not to high for the quality of food you receive. It was well worth the money!
