This pizza stall might look humble, but honestly, they make one of the BEST wood-fired pizzas in Melbourne!

As an Asian, I’m quite picky when it comes to pizza dough, but theirs is just perfect. Thin and crisp on the outside, a little stretchy and chewy inside, and super light to eat without feeling heavy or doughy.

We planned to share one pizza between us (I usually can’t even finish half), but we ended up ordering two because it was that good!

We had:

1. Porcini Prosciutto: generous with porcini mushrooms, rich aroma from the truffle paste, and perfectly balanced prosciutto. As someone who prefers less salty flavours, I found their prosciutto absolutely top-tier, flavourful yet not overpowering.

2. Special of the Day (I forgot the name): topped with stracciatella, smoked slow-cooked beef, caramelised onion, and a lemony extra virgin olive oil dressing. The combination was fantastic, every bite offered a beautiful balance of sweet, savoury, tangy, and creamy notes that complemented each other perfectly.

I also loved the owner’s warm hospitality, he took time to explain everything, and we could see how much care he put into each pizza. The atmosphere was cozy, welcoming, and full of passion for good food.

Definitely coming back to try more! Highly recommend this hidden gem in Clayton

Perfect pizzas. The Diavola and pistachio were the best pizzas I’ve tasted in Melbourne. Even beats the famous pizzerias in Naples to be honest. Tasted the love put into the dough and toppings were fresh from Italy. Owners were also very passionate in giving high quality food and service. 11/10 would recommend.

This place serve the best pizza dough Ive had.

It’s thin, crispy and airy , which lets the quality ingredients showcase themselves with a light crunch at the end. Exactly how it should be.

Even after 20mins the the base still had a satisfying crunch — i don’t think I’ll ever go back to soggy, doughy pizza after this , it’s that good!

10/10 will come again , well done

Pizza was absolutely wonderful. Dough is so nice, airy and thin for the perfect crunch and taste with obviously the toppings of the pizza. We had the Gamberetti and the special lamb pizza, by far the Gamberetti was amazing. It is a small canopy type of pizza place which may fool you but they are really good, perfect for sitting outside if weather’s good.

First time here and so glad we tried it. I drive past all the time and never knew this was here at all! Had the capricciosa, affumicato, and the special of the week, which is the Bistecca (thanks for the reply)…but had cheesey truffle on it, all 3 were amazing. Capricciosa was one of the best I have had, just put together really well, the ingredients were on point. Affumicato was a little more oily, not a bad thing as it’s meant to be. The special was a cheesey truffle with thinly sliced steak, REALLY nice choice and mix up from the standard pizzas. Rarely do I like steak on a pizza, but this is worth a try.
I’ll also add that the owners are very passionate and were super helpful in explaining what they offered.

Best to eat in or wait around close so you can eat these hot. I had a wait time of nearly an hour so call or order ahead. Really friendly service
Overall rather decent wood-fired pizzas considering I had mine takeaway and although I got there a few minutes earlier than at the instructed time my pizzas were cool. Had they been straight out of the oven I reckon I would have enjoyed them drastically more. The prices are also a little steep given that they are serving out of a shack basically and yet charging restaurant level.

I found this place randomly searching on Google Maps. I decided to give it a go after seeing the raving reviews. Wow, I’ve stumbled onto a true hidden gem! The wood fire pizza here is delicious. The crust is thin and crispy. It’s even better than the pizzas I’ve tried in Italy. Giuseppe is a legend.

The hype was well deserved. I was thoroughly impressed with the lamb wood-fired pizza, which had an incredibly soft dough that left me with a delightful taste sensation with every bite. The combination of cheese, lamb, tazsaki, and fresh tomatoes elevated the experience to an exceptional level. I commend your continued excellent work.
