Server was nice and friendly.
Food was mediocre.
We order 3 different styles of shrimp boil, they’re we lacking garlic and flavor.
Also they used to come with a potato a corn and a piece or two of sausage. Now we have to add that. ( I wouldn’t mind if it wasn’t so bland, we kept having to add salt and pepper to seasone our food)
I love seafood boil but if it keeps going like this, I will need to find a different spot.

The food here is really good and I enjoyed my experience overall. The staff was nice and everything tasted great. The only thing I noticed was that the restroom was pretty dirty and had a strong smell. I hope they can work on keeping it cleaner because it would make the experience even better.

It is ridiculous that most of the restaurant was empty and we had to wait 45 minutes to get seated for 4 people. When I asked why this was he said it was just 2 of them working the floor.. as much as I understand it sucks and they get busy. Management should really hire more people and schedule appropriately for a sunday afternoon. Plus the last 3 times ive been to this location the bar was closed due to short staff. I ended up leaving and driving 20 minutes to the rainbow location and got seated right away. Now tell me why from my seat I can see 5-6 staff members and management checking on guests, but the craig location had 2 people? Im not being a hater, Craig pier 88 has been my go to for about 4 years now. It has been getting worst over time and today topped it off.

I have visited this location on three other occasions before today but I have never left a review. The food has been pretty consistent and is still hot even after getting it home. I have never dined in, and today was no different. I ordered my meal to go and the service was friendly and the food was prepared fast. Once I was home and opened all the bags I noticed that the two 1/2 pound bags of shrimp that I ordered were not clearly labeled with the spice level. I ordered one with no spice and the other mild. I had to taste the sauce in both bags to tell the difference but honestly I couldn’t taste a difference. My husband ordered the Low Country Boil medium and that sauce was spicy. I don’t like that the crab clusters appeared to have not been washed before they’re put in the sauce. There was visible green gunk inside the clusters which was not cool. There was also no sauce provided for the fried shrimp I ordered but they did provide plenty of gloves which made eating this so much easier and less messy.

[19MAR25] Visited a relative and derciderds ro do a serafood lunch nearby. The story just opened so we were able to get a table fast. Yummy seafood. Unlimited sodas here and server will hivew a glass without being askewd amazing. Thank you for the experience.

We had the catfish po boy. It consisted of the usual tomatoe and lettuce on a hoagie roll. It came with 3 sauces to choose from tartar, ranch, and a housemate sauce which was a tad spicy(it was really good). The fish was 2 paper thin pieces and all you could taste was the batter. It came with cajun fries which were good. The place itself is really nice and the service was really good. Even though the entire experience was okay. I probably wouldn’t return. The thin pieces of fish was ridiculous for the amount we paid

Never been before and decided it was time! We all tried “the boiling” with the 88 special and for the spice medium and hot. Not only was the flavoring amazing, there was plenty of food for anyone to eat. A bit messy but the staff gives you plenty to keep clean. Also, our waitress was patience and explained everything clearly. We’ll be back again soon!

Pier 88 is a fun and friendly place to visit. We arrived late afternoon; after lunch and before dinner and were seated right away without reservations.
They offer an extensive menu with a variety of seafood combinations.
The prices are moderate and the portions are big! Everything was brought to the table piping hot and it was delicious, including their seafood cocktail sauce. All of the seafood was fresh. We ordered fried oysters, shrimp and catfish with regular fries and cajun fries. The cajun fries are outstanding!! What we enjoyed the most was the light, thin, crispy batter they used and the shrimp were jumbo sized, yum!
Our waitress, Jo, was fast, cheerful, funny and a good conversationalist. We can’t wait to try other items on their menu when we return.
