Today was my birthday. A friend of ours told us about Remos. We drove from Columbus to Gallipolis for my ” birthday lunch”!! The hotdogs were GREAT!!! That sauce was something else!! Atmosphere was wonderful and the owners were friendly as can be!! We’ll be back, not only because of the hotdogs, but the friendly people!! When we left, we felt like “family”!!!❤️

Been a customer since I was a kid, went there during high school for off campus lunch. I miss the older days when Remo with his wife & daughter was there. After they closed, when they reopened it’s no longer tastes the same. Still good but something’s missing. & warning if you eat inside or even just hang out inside for awhile, you get the remo smell. Lol you could always tell who went to Remo’s for lunch in school.

There is no sauce like Remo’s. You can add it to your footer, or buy the sauce to go. I’ve been eating at this place since I was a kid in the 70s. I always get everything, plus hot sauce-hold the cheese. You will be glad you went. The sauce is also great on spaghetti. The family that runs it are awesome people. I really wish they would take credit cards. Grab some cash before you go. You can eat it inside or go to the park front, or a bench near the river. You’re going to love it!

I didn’t care for the Coney at all I did not like the sauce the hot dog weiner was overcooked and waterlogged which made the bun and everything waterlogged. The guy working there was super nice he was the owner but he wore the same food gloves that he handled the money with as he handled the food with which I did not like I do not think that’s very clean at that rate why even wear gloves at all. Just be careful when you walk in the door it feels like the floor is ready to break their you can see it move when you step on it the threshold area it moves a whole lot and I’m not a real heavy person.
