1-13-26, We ordered a margherita pizza from the room, walked over to pick it up. Just a hundred yards away from the Inn. Carry out or delivery only.
The pizza was good, not great, excellent flavor with the basil, the crust was perfect. I just wish the fresh mozzarella was spread out a bit better. It was either on the slice or off the slice.

On a very slow random Monday in February, my kids and I got 3 personal pizzas. One cheese, one pepperoni, and one deluxe. All were VERY good. I know from experience some resort food places (looking at you Great Wolf Lodge) are over priced and blah at best. All 3 of us finished our entire pizzas. I pretty much never eat the end crust but I did on this pizza. Light and airy but with just enough crunch. Very pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality.

Not sure about the negative ratings maybe it is from the rough times of Covid or something. But the pizza is very good, it is not the best pizza I’ve ever had, but it is very good. Better than any other hotel pizza I have had and if I lived nearby I would order this pizza.
Guys working in there were nice, greek salad was good, Wings were great.
The wings were actually much better than most pizza places. We really enjoyed their traditional wings.
If you are here at Crystal Mountain order a pizza and take it to your room and enjoy it.

I would like to give a shout out to Betsie River Pizza & Subs for having gluten free options (both pizza and subs). My son has Celiac and it is very hard to find options when eating out – especially on complex at a resort. The food was better than expected and price was not horrible. Nice option at Crystal Mountain Resort. Try it!

Fist we were told there is only 1 size pizza 14 in. On line it shows pizza priced $9. We ordered 2 pizzas. We went to pick it up.they only had 1 on order. Price $28.00. They said they would give us second pizza free. We took pizzas one pizza all the cheese on half the pizza slid into the center. So then you took a piece it was only crust.

Boneless wings and ranch were really good.
My opinion the personal pizzas taste better for some reason. Usually it’s the other way around, full pizzas are bomb but personal pizzas lack. Not here. The buffalo chicken personal pizza was SO GOOD!!! I could eat 3 of them. Wish I would have had a chance to try the subs. Next time for sure!

Betsie River Pizza and Subs is a to-go or order online for pickup or resort delivery. I’ve been here twice, once getting an Italian toasted sub and the second time getting the deluxe personal pan size pizza. The toasted subs and pizzas are delicious and turned out better than I expected. I asked for my pizza to be well done to avoid soggy pizza and they baked the pizza well.

Awful experience! We’ve been staying here a few times a year for the last 5 years. Unfortunately the customer service from the pizza shop and the wild tomato restaurant have made it very difficult to give it a good rating. The manager of the pizza and sub shop is very rude! Hopefully you do not have to deal with him. They gave our $60 order to someone else. I witnessed these kids outside on the ground of the sidewalk at night in the winter go through our food. Which I didn’t realize at the time was ours. They finally determined it wasn’t theirs. So they brought it back and the manager was no help. He expected me to take the cold food that these strangers brought back and be OK with that. At this point he said what do you want me to do about it… I explained, well I wanted dinner for my family but I don’t want this cold food that someone else has already taken and went through. At this point he said to the lady behind the counter to call security. Lol. Why I don’t know because he couldn’t make the situation right. I said good call security. I asked for our money back. They said they would try to credit it to our account later. What a joke.

Pizza was bad, tasted bad, place is overrated, was recommended by a friend, over priced too! Not happy! Will never return! Only thing going is good service! I get the Same pizza down the road 15 miles, it’s much better!
