Went in to have a dinner with the family. Food was good and the service was attentive.
We did not know they were going to have a band playing right next to our table. The band was good but it really took away from our dinner vibe.
I think I will go back for a lunch or dinner on a week night.

At Christmas time this is THE place to get in the spirit! Fun staff! We got the crab cake which wasn’t prepared the way I ordered it. The server offered to replace it and even showed me the receipt when paying that he had ordered it correctly. It was above average and as the before and after photos show, I ate it all! My friend had the soup and sandwich. She later confessed Trader Joe’s soup is better but she enjoyed it. Definitely an enjoyable hang out. The fireplace was worth the visit!

Wonderful service from both Shelby and our waitress Nina. I enjoyed the pastrami burger. This was a bit interesting in taste but so perfectly cooked to order. A huge plus was the outdoor seating. We were able to sit unhindered with our dog SnickleFritz. The Reuben egg rolls were also a hit. I want to thank Nina again for suggesting a kids meal grilled cheese for our pup.

The food was great
The staff very friendly and quick service. The atmosphere just what I would expect for an Irish-American Pub. Some drunk singing Irish men would have been the cherry on top. I had the Shepherd’s pie which was delicious with the provided gravy, the Nash potatoes were a little die but not bad. Their giant pretzel that comes on a hanger was super hot , but soft and delicious with the included beer cheese The fish and chips were delicious too!
I hope I can return here in the near future

Had the potato skins which were typical. Raw Oysters which my husband loved. Shepherd’s Pie was FANTASTIC & Beef Stew was exceptional! Our waitress was very friendly, helped with our menu selections and was overall very attentive. Will be back!

Fish:was ok , I didn’t read in the menu if the fish was fresh or frozen .
Chips: splendid rich flavor, deep crunchy consistency, very good
Food temperature:Hottttttttttt and hottttt JUST AS I LIKE IT.
Beer: beer was served how it supposed to be, no oxygen and the cream on top wuo. Glass was no frozen and beer was little warm for my taste.
Tartar sauce: nop you need to change your recipe is really bad.
Service:absolutely magnificent, best service in town, congratulations.
Prices: affordable
Parking: plenty
Soon I will return to this Irish pub that won my heart.i will taste the whole menu in intrigue for more.

Happy hour drink and food specials were amazing. We will definitely come back on our next trip to VB. We were staying in the beach for over a week and ate here 4 or 5 of the nights! I’m following a very low carb way of eating and most nights I had raw oysters and chicken wings! Everything was fresh and delicious! Thank you for making Veteran’s day weekend memorable with the specials on irish whiskey!

One of the times we were there with a young couple and their children. The meals were all wonderful and the children’s size fish and chips was larger than adult portion another restaurant we ate at.

Stopped into Murphy’s for the first time and went with the Irish classics – Fish & Chips, Irish Stew with soda bread, and a pint of Guinness. Everything was excellent. The fish was perfectly fried and crispy, the stew was hearty and flavorful with tender beef, potatoes, and carrots, and the soda bread with butter was a great touch.

The atmosphere feels like a true Irish pub – lively, welcoming, and yes, a bit loud with people cheering at the TVs for sports (which adds to the vibe).

Service was friendly and attentive — my server, Macy E, was very nice and made the experience even better.

If you’re in Virginia Beach and want great Irish food with an authentic pub feel, Murphy’s is definitely worth a visit.

Great active, packed, live bands with dancing, great atmosphere. Service was friendly, just seemed a little short handed. Food was very good and very reasonably priced. I had eaten some of my chips before picture but wanted to take because it was very good.
