FOOD POISONING! A few weeks ago, I got violently ill just hours after eating their food. I waited it out just to make sure that I didn’t have the flu, but no one else around me got sick! AND IT’S THE GIFT THAT KEEPS GIVING, because now I have gastritis!! I can’t have certain foods/drinks without getting severe stomach cramps! Anyone that weight trains can understand gravity of being unable to drink their protein shakes!

Not what it once was, this place once had the best Chinese food around. I grabbed a menu on the way out, and it’s going into the garbage right with the food. The chicken was terrible, I thought I was going to break my teeth on the egg roll. The only thing that was palatable was the won ton soup. We won’t be back.

Terrible. We ordered 10 ingredient lo mein. It had absolutely nothing in it. No meat, no seafood, no vegetables…. NOTHING… just noodles. Too bad I can’t post a picture of the food.

The meal I had at China Castle was the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. Each part of my meal was juicy and tasty, to the point of me going out of my comfort zone and try a mushroom in my dish, which I usually avoid and dislike. Even when it was something I normally do not enjoy, the food was amazing. The water chestnuts in my dish we’re not too hard or too soft, the one bite of sweet and sour combo amazed me with the tempura batter, somehow being absolutely perfect. It was like the sweet and sour chicken I had growing up was somehow made wrong, and I was awoken to a perfected meal. My one regret is discovering such meal right before their day of the week off. My meal was wonderful, and my wallet is not in ruin.

Service was quick. The food was not the best. The Pork lo mein had very little pork in it and is extremely bland tasting. tiny egg rolls with little filling. Portions where small.

I dont eat pork, I asked to substitute pork fried rice with a vegetable fried rice as my combination, this apparently is a problem for them, ill just stick with Yo Po in Hamlin. Neither are great Chinese but they’re atleast nicer and more accommodating for easy substitutions.
