So lots of food, great atmosphere, clean environment, fast service. ( I missed a few items, couldn’t remember everything )
A little over priced so maybe for more of a special event. Glad we tried it though
The dining concept is order-from-the-menu all-you-can-eat, allowing you to choose as many dishes as you like, with the condition that all ordered food must be finished. This is a reasonable policy that helps maintain food quality. Every dish is freshly prepared, and the ingredients are of good quality, which is noticeable in both taste and presentation.
The menu offers a wide variety of Japanese dishes, including sushi, sashimi, hot dishes, and many other options. Each dish is well-presented, and the portion sizes are appropriate, allowing you to try many different items without feeling overwhelmed.
The staff are very friendly, cheerful, and attentive. They are proactive, quick to take orders, and the food is served promptly, making the dining experience smooth and enjoyable.
Considering the quality of the food, the pleasant atmosphere, and the excellent service, the price is very reasonable and truly worth it. This is a highly recommended restaurant for anyone who loves Japanese cuisine or is looking for a quality all-you-can-eat Japanese dining experience. I would definitely come back again.
We stopped by Oumi on New Year’s for lunch and were very impressed and pleased with the attentive server and staff welcoming us, price point was right for a lunch spot and the offerings for food were order and they’d bring out and explain the dishes being coursed out.
I loved our special rolls we got along with the sashimi appetizers, would def get these again! My picky kiddo got an order of fried rice and some chicken nuggets which helped and we also appreciated that they were very much good about picking up our dishes and asking if we wanted to put in our next round.
Interior was clean, and aesthetic of the decor and bathrooms were very nice, well lit and maintained. For a spot that just opened, you can certainly tell they’ve worked to ensure it’s on its game for grand opening galore!
I’d come back and also very much liked the parking situation, which makes me always appreciative of eating without the stress of something else to think thru!
It’s a really clean restaurant, and look super fancy for a restaurant. I loved the feel of the table that looked like a marble black table again super clean restaurant and would definitely recommend and the lighting was just perfect. Not too dark nor too bright just perfect environment for you and your loved ones. But more specifically perfect for your significant other or someone special in your life.
The booth seating is a whole new game. I mean the space and how long the seat was. All in all we truly liked the restaurant.
We had gyoza and crab rangoons for appetizers which were both delicious. We ordered a BUNCH of rolls. I didn’t personally care for the Honey Roll (sweet potato) or Austin Roll (crawfish) that my husband ordered, but he ate them. 🙂 The Double Salmon Roll sounded good but the sriracha sauce kinda overpowered the fish. The Hollywood was pretty good. My favorite roll was the Angry Lobster which I would definitely order again. I also got salmon nigiri which is one of my favorites and it was decent! Don’t skip the sesame seed balls which should be on the dessert menu instead of appetizer menu – very interesting and tasty!
I’m looking forward to coming back and trying some other rolls.
I have tried many new AYCE places in Austin and this is the best one! Our server Illyana so kind and attentive and the food was AMAZING! They served our sashimi and nigiris on a boat!!! (crazy service and presentation for AYCE). Also the sashimis were sooo thick and pieces were huge . Atmosphere is clean and big! Great for date nights, large groups and more! I 100% recommend and I will be back!!
The service is on point, everyone is basically your server and they work very well together. You can just tell it’s a great environment to work in with the kindness and happiness the servers show.
The environment is BEAUTIFUL and HUGE! The owner put a lot of thought into this place and it shows. This will be our new go to!
