Friendly and quick service. Good chips and salsa right away; slightly spicy and not chunky. I had the Mole Chicken Enchiladas. Mole sauce was excellent and the portion sizes were generous but not excessive. The refried beans were good, with animal fat, not seasoned. The yellow rice was neutral. Great prices, clean restaurant.

Likely the best Mexican food in all of greater Lansing! Photoed is their birria burrito. The picture doesn’t do it justice, it was soo good! Highly recommend

Loved it. Nice mom and pop place. Great service and good was very good. I had the birria soup after being out in the cold for Krampus Nacht festivities in Old Town. Hit the spot. Nice rich broth and good balance of flavors. Would definitely get again.

This place was delicious. The guacamole and salsa tasted very good. This made me excited for the birria tacos and consommé. The tacos were the best tacos I’ve had in a very long time, and the consommé. I hope that my wife buries me with them when I die to ensure my future in the afterlife. Park on the street and dine inside to enjoy great food and very friendly service.

Good as in I think most food in Lansing is not even worth leaving my house for.
First off they didn’t bring our food out immediately because they were…..COOKING IT!
IT WAS HOT AND FRESH
Had the Birria tacos and OH MY just hot shells and so WELL seasoned even had pickled onions inside
(Like perfect mix of authentic+a little fancy)
The guacamole? I had it in Puerto Vallerta and thats how I judge the perfect amount of cilantro+lime+salt
It tasted PERFECT
My husband had the Chimichanga it was crisp and he loved the cheese inside
They didn’t pour sauce over the top either (doesnt make sense on a fried food meant to be CRISPY!!)
ordered chicken flautas again just perfect
seasoned and hot+crispy
Beans were good not too salty
Rice tasted fresh
Service was great–Kevin waited on us–Super friendly and helpful
I can’t wait to go back and try more
Please give them a try I can’t see how you’d be disappointed
(Oh didn’t charge us for chips or the refill either) Los Tres charges $2.50 now for 1 basket

Such great service and food! As a 10+ year vegetarian, I was shocked to find they recently added soy substitute as a meat alternative (pictured in my tacos). We were celebrating my birthday and the tres leches was amazing! Maria’s was a great find and we will definitely be coming back!
