I ordered a chicken cesar salad for pick up and the pricing was already high ($16) but the fact that the chicken looked and tasted fake was frustrating. All of the pieces looked like they had slimy skin on them and it would weirdly break apart with stretchy pieces in the chicken. I would not order this, or any other chicken item again.

All in all this was good. It was a Saturday night so it was very busy and loud. They tried to seat us right in the middle of the floor in front of the front door. I have a sensory issue so I asked for another table and they told me there was none available when there was obviously many. So me and my family went and sat at a different empty table. The hostess seemed irritated and told us we couldn’t sit there. My husband had to tell them that I had a disability and they had to seat us elsewhere. So she sat three other tables and then came back and sat us somewhere else. Other than that it was good. The lobster mac was delicious

The chef makes some really good selections with a beautiful and fun bar theme. They specially do a wonderful, inspiring job of incorporating beer, cheese, and potato.
The beer battered Cosmik fries side with cracked pepper and cheese sauce is good and unique. The honey sriracha boneless wings with ranch are uniquely flavorful. These are a middle sized portion. As a third selection, the really good beer cheese soup is rich and creamy once moving past the beer taste. Without a side fry, the chef generously tops the soup with tasteful potato.
I wish they served a heartier produce option of a side house salad filled with more quality vegetable. Also, I wish to find in more cities honey sriracha fried chicken and beer battered fries.

Food was not good. My medium rare steak came out well done. The fries were soggy. The server offered to have my steak recooked, but I don’t send food back, Im not going to waste food like that. The steak comes out cut into slices, the server looked at that well done steak as she broughtbit to the table, knew I ordered it medium rare and still served it.
We were at a small 2 top table, no dishes were cleared from our table as we finished, not even the salad bowl that was empty before our entrees arrived. We had to move things around just to have room to sign our credit card slip.
This place is supposed to be known for its amazing cosmic fries, you think they’d at least try to do that right. . . Not the case.
Overall, especially with all the choices in EL, we’ll definitely be choosing different establishments.

We had such a great experience thanks to our waitress D. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. Our drinks were always full, the food came out exactly as ordered, and she checked in at just the right times without being overbearing. You can tell she really cares about giving great service. We’ll definitely be back and hope to have her again!

He was readily available to work with me on all the details of venue set-up, choice of food items and their location and display, and made suggestions regarding the overall plan based on his previous experience in these matters. In short, Bryan was professional, knowledgeable, and an excellent event planner. From my first meeting with Bryan, I had a positive feeling that the party planning coordination was in very capable hands.

As far as East Lansing food goes HopCat was pretty good. The food came out promptly and the beer was cold. The grilled cheese was great even though it not something I would regularly try. I would give it a try if you like good bar food and a solid beer selection. I have opted to try other places when the the line is out the door.

Samira was our server and she was so kind and attentive! My drink was made wrong and she instantly changed it and didn’t charge me for it! I would totally come back again and ask her to be my server! Had the best time!

I started going here when I turned 21 and they had the nice bar counter in the center area many different drinks on tap and excellent burgers and fries. However my last visit was met with the harsh reality that I may never be coming back. All the smash burgers I crave are now non existent replaced with frozen patties that taste like the gas they were grilled on. I must have picked a wrong evening it was 9pm and there were 2 large parties present 1 of adults and the other im assuming were their children who were all over and noisy. I go to a bar to be in an adult setting. One child rudely pushed past my seated friend when there were alternate routes to take. I cannot unfortunately return here if the only thing worth the trip are appetizers and a dwindling selection of beers.
