The service was perfect !! We were greeted with a friendly hello and smiles from the staff. The food is spectacular. I had the smothered pork chops with mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes. My wife had the fried chicken with Mac&Cheese and collards. There wasn’t a crumb of anything left on our plates. It’s hard to say what we enjoyed most because all of it was delicious. The collards and sweet potatoes deserve more than 5 stars they are extraordinarily delicious. Don’t pass up Ella J’s it’s a true hidden gem

The food was great however, the customer service was horrible meaning the male waiter was rude, pushy and unprofessional..After we finished our meal which totalled over $95.00 this waiter instead of bringing the bill to the table as customary the he insisted my handicap husband get up and
walk over to the register only so he could point out the cost of the bill and what he expected his tip to be and only then did
he bring the bill to the table. This type of behavior doesn’t deserve a tip! Although the food was great this waiters behavior cost this business what would have been constant loyal customers.

The food was VERY good
Staff was friendly and welcoming felt like being at a family members home .
I got an order of fried green tomatoes, POTROAST meal with rice and squash casserole and smothered pork chops with dressing and mac and cheese .
No complaints at all . Actually planning to go back and try more my total was 39 and I think it was well worth it this is actual soulfood!!

Elea J’s Southern Table is a must place to stop to try all the yummiest / delicious meal / dessert. They are warmth, friendly, welcoming and greet everyone with a smile. The food there are so home cooking meal that once you eat it… your taste bud remind you what your mom / grandma would cook. Every meal is like a holiday. As an actress / photographer… I always look for home cooking BC I’m never in the kitchen long enough to actually cook a home cook meal. Tell Chef Elea that Molly the actress say, “Hello.”

8/27/2023: I ordered 3 To-Go dinner plates; (I ordered a “Breast,” they gave me a Thigh :-(. I do not like fried Chicken Thighs :-{
1- Southern Fried Chicken, Cabbage, and Pinto Beans.
2-Baked Chicken & Dressing, Black Eyed Peas, and Cabbage.
3-Tilapia Filet, Collards, and Green Beans.
The prices are reasonable. I ordered: Whiting Filet, Mac & Cheese, and Cabbage (Cornbread comes with the meal). I like cheesy Mac & Cheese; so I had to add more cheese to their macaroni. The Cabbage and Cornbread was delicious. 5 star customer service; they’re nice people.

I came in shortly before closing and was honestly expecting limited options—but I was blown away. The staff welcomed me warmly, and I still received a fresh, hot meal like it was the beginning of the day. The fried chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the collard greens and cornbread tasted just like home. But the real star? The banana pudding—absolutely amazing! The owner even went out of her way to make a fresh batch just so I could have some, even though they were almost closed. On top of that, I had my toddler with me, and the staff was incredibly kind and sweet to her, which made the whole experience even more special. You can really feel the love and care in both the food and the service. I’ll definitely be back!

Had the fried green tomatoes, beef tips, potatoes salad and French fries. The fries were little salty but had a little lemon kick to them which was pleasant. Potato salad and beef tips were amazing, cornbread was moist tomatoes were delicious. Walter our waiter was great, nice, polite and attentive

I ordered the fried shrimp and had cheese grits and fries and cornbread. The food was very good and flavorful did not have to add any condiments. The cornbread was so sweet wish I had more. Will definitely be back to try more of their food another time.

Excellent true southern food. Fried green tomatoes were great, as were the collards and fried squash. Country fried steak with white pepper gravy was just right. Felt like I was back at Grandmom’s !
