Golden Journey
Nice and clean restaurant the food was very fresh and hot. Mia was our waitress we ordered a couple entrees. They didn’t give my husband his corn tortillas but overall the food and service was delicious. Compared to some of the other Mexican restaurants we’ve been to we seem to like this one the best and we highly would recommend

Salsa, pure tomatoe paste and some seeds. Add some flavor for the love of God. Bland bland bland. Tacos, flavorless and sad. Steak Quesadilla hardly any cheese on it, so pretty much tortilla and steak so pretty dry unless you want tomatoe sauce salsa on it.
Way to bright and loud as hell is a echo chamber. Probably ok for the old tasteless rich folk of Simpsonville though.
It could be so so so much better. Disappointing to say the least

OMG… wasn’t expecting much more than average fare…the burrito bowl … fantastic. Went back the very next week. Had the vegetable tacos…amazed again. Delicious don’t let the silly name fool you. The food is exceptional. The service is cheerful. Overall I could eat there every week.

This is a great new spot in Simpsonville! I am there often and my service is always excellent. Katrina is the best and makes a fantastic margarita. She loves her regulars and her service is excellent. If Rema is at the door checking you in or out you are in good hands. Everyone I have encountered has been nice and I respect their teamwork. Nice to have a local Mexican restaurant that feels a lot like family!

Food was average and not a great value for price. There were five of us. Once you get three things of chips, you are charged extra. Service was somewhat slow. Waitress was phenomenal though. Some of food was not as described on menu. Restaurant can be quite loud.

We went for a late lunch and sat at the bar. Ralph was our waiter/bartender. His services were excellent from start to finish along with the margaritas he served. Chips with two kinds of salsas were offered. We had steak fajitas and a Vegetable bowl, both huge portions and great. Life is good!

The brand new Mr. Salsas!!!! Part of the chain that now has one on Wade Hampton and one in TR. This one is huge, the staff is amazing and the food is the same excellent quality you would expect!
I have been 5 times already since they opened haha I used to drive 40 minutes from Simpsonville to wade Hampton just to eat at that Mr. Salsas. Highly recommend, ya knobs!

We went to Mr. Salsa for dinner on a Monday evening and it was great! I had the Enchiladas con Carne Frita and my girlfriend had the Fish Tacos.
My dinner was fantastic, I loved the cheese enchiladas and the fajita steak was so tender and flavorful. The fish tacos were also great, each taco had a huge fish fillet on it that was really flavorful and grilled perfectly. I also loved the 2 carafes of salsa that came out with the chips.
The interior was so clean and it was very nice inside while still having a laid back atmosphere. The service was awesome – our server was very attentive and never let the drinks run out and offered us extra chips as well.
Try out Mr. Salsa – the menu options are pretty unique and the food is some of the best Mexican I’ve had in the Upstate!

Didn’t think the food was good the first time we ate here. Very, very bland. I tried the beef and cheese enchiladas and the beef and sauce had absolutely no seasoning. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten at a Mexican food restaurant that had no flavor to it. Basket of chips they give you is very small as well. Our waitress was super sweet and did an awesome job serving us though. Went back because some friends were going for lunch so thought I’d give it another try. This time it was even worse. Our waitress was not good. She was rude serving us and even in taking our orders. I tried the steak quesadilla this time. It’s not even between two tortillas, it is just one tortilla folded over, so basically half of one. They also charge extra if you want lettuce, tomato and sour cream. We decided to try a margarita as well and also, the worst margarita I’ve probably ever had. We only took a few sips and left the rest. Simpsonville needs some more dining places so I hope this restaurant will work on getting their food and their service right. I will wait several months before I give them another try.
