Amazing food and service! My Boyfriend and his family where out looking for a deep freezer and the owner of the restaurant was also there needing a deep freezer so they were curious and asked him what he was going to do with it, he let them know about his restaurant “Viva”. When they told me about the encounter and how kind he was I did my little research and the food looked amazing (it is). I personally love Vietnamese food so we had to try it! We went for dinner 3 adults 1 kid and a little baby. We were sat at a booth we fit comfortably but there are many tables and space all around the restaurant and the ambiance is perfect! Decorations are warm and welcoming. They had the big round family style tables for Hot Pot also. The employees make great team work they all helped each other to give us amazing service also with the other customers around us. The owner recognized us and came to say hi he also brought us over that wings plate and OH MY the best seasoning and salt and pepper sauce (on the side) you will ever have! The broth for all of our pho was perfect, vegetables taste very fresh to us and there was plenty of meat in the pho not stingy at all. We also had Shrimp Fried Rice and WOW plenty of shrimp very crispy, well seasoned, not bland or over seasoned just amazing. We had spring rolls as an appetizer and they were big, crunchy and fresh not greasy at all I’m used to restaurants making little spring rolls for the same price but these were perfect. My baby did drop and break his bottle and the employees were amazing helping us out with the mess…again teamwork! Over all great customer service, very welcoming and aesthetically pleasing environment with plenty space for big families. Restrooms are very clean and nice. I’ve used the word perfect many times but the experience really made my day I have zero complaints it was just that amazing.

Food is definitely delicious here. Everything tastes yummy, not too salty, not too bland. We stop by during Xmas eve and there is no wait. The time it takes for our orders is acceptable and everything is brought up almost simultaneously. Servers can be a bit difficult to grab their attention for beverage refill, though.

Viva Restaurant 3 is a casual Vietnamese spot that was pleasantly good. The beef vermicelli bowl was delicious. The noodles were warm which was nice since so many places serve them cold or at room temp. The flavor was comforting and delicious.
The water spinach was perfectly seasoned and tender but some bites were a bit gritty suggesting it might not have been washed thoroughly.
The pork belly in the clay pot, however, was a bit too sweet my taste and they used whole peppercorns instead of ground pepper which added to my dislike for this dish.
One more minor irritation – a fly kept buzzing around our table, which definitely took away from the otherwise enjoyable meal.
The menu is huge and has so many options. Plenty of free parking available. I’ll be back to try some more dishes.

Every dish we ordered was delicious. The staff were attentive and caring. I dined at their original location (I believe it was in 1960) over ten years ago and have never been disappointed. Their portions are perfect for families. My only complaint is the orange chicken; while usually a favorite with the children, it was too spicy for them on this occasion.

So glad to have stopped by this Vietnamese restaurant after shopping for tiles along 290 . Delicious food and outstanding services. A lot more choices on the menu compared to most Vietnamese restaurants .We ordered the lotus salad .It was unique and the portion was big.Pho was good. Will definitely visit again to try other signature dishes .

Honestly, this place is good but it’s VERY pricey. What do you mean FOUR crab puffs are TEN dollars???? Anyway, the place is nice and well kept, and it has a nice environment. I ordered com tam, and it was decent. I think if you come here it’s most likely for the family style dining, but I am not a fan of traditional Vietnamese foods like the fish and soups, so I may be biased.

This restaurant offers a large selection of Vietnamese style dishes from Pho with Chicken to one with various meats. Our party of 8 all chose something different but, we ordered a large selection of appetizers. Wings, fried eggrolls, salads, chicken wings and a few more too many to remember but I took plenty of pics. The wait staff was Friendly n Courteous and made sure our food came out quickly while still Hot. Our drinks were also filled quickly. Overall a tremendous meal had by all. I highly recommend it.

A wonderful find! We are from Wisconsin visiting our brother here in Houston. It was dinner time and we were driving around looking for a restaurant. Stopped here and we were welcomed by a server at the door. After describing various items on the menu, we ordered two different items. Both were delicious with lots to take home. Thanks for the wonderful food experience. It was our first time for Vietnamese food. We will be back again next year.

This was my first time visiting and I must say I didn’t expect to receive the level of service I received today. KHOA was amazing. I received fine dining service! I told Khoa it was our first time and he recommended a couple options and my son and I ordered that. The portions were large to be lunch plates. The food was so good! The shaking beef is my new fave. The staff greets every guest upon arrival and they do a team clearing of the tables when they leave. Will most definitely be back to see Khoa. He was so personable and smiled!
