Always a great experience eating here. Not once have I been disappointed.
Server Kara was absolutely amazing, made sure our drinks were always filled, checked in with us as well multiple times.
We enjoyed a couple appetizers, main dish.

Went to Pappas in Glen Burnie on Valentine’s Day for a late lunch and expected a wait, but we were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and attentive, the food came out quickly, and the crab cakes were some of the best I’ve had in Maryland. Only small critique: the décor feels a bit dated, but the food and service more than make up for it.

We were picking up our son at BWI and decided to take a detour. It was worth it. We did take out – so can’t speak to atmosphere! It was packed though!!
We each got the single crab cake platter. OMW – huge lumps of crab meat. It lived up to the hype!! We got cream of crab soup, side salads and onion rings. They were good as well but the crab cake stole the show!! The single was plenty. I couldn’t finish my soup – that will be lunch tomorrow!!
Definitely worth a try when in the area!!
Can’t wait for our next trip to BWI!!

This evening, we celebrated my uncle Kevin’s 68th birthday at this restaurant which was a place he and my late Aunt Dee (who passed away in October 2025) truly enjoyed. My sister generously treated us to dinner which made the evening even more special.
We shared the fried shrimp which was delicious. My uncle and I both ordered the Pappas’ Seafood Club. My sister chose the salmon with a crab cake, mac and cheese. Our server Debbie was an absolute delight. She was attentive, warm, and welcoming. Another server along with Debbie surprised us by bringing out a slice of chocolate cake and leading a heartfelt rendition of “Happy Birthday” for my uncle. That thoughtful gesture meant more than words can express.
Thank you for helping make my uncle’s birthday so memorable. We truly appreciate the excellent service and look forward to dining here again.

Our anniversary meals were served hot, very flavorful and the double crab cakes are a must song with the chicken wings.
Our server Olivia was excellent, attentive, and quite friendly!
I highly recommend this restaurant for a great place to eat, a lively vibe, free parking and the state’s best and largest crab cakes!

Service is a little scattered brain but the food is great and the prices are decent. I always get my tried and true seafood club sandwich. It’s the best of both worlds: crab cake and shrimp salad. I’m going to see if they have bacon, next time.

Let me start this review off saying that I have never had any problems with my service at the restaurant. All employees have been kind and courteous.
I just have a lingering question. Are you using imitation crab meat in your crab dip because that is not Maryland crab. I even dare to say not even blue crab. It has a strong fishy taste. I hope I am wrong but the crab meat used in the crab that I got today was not good.

With the exhausting pace of the holidays, I just wanted to relax and eat myself silly. I’ve been to Pappas a few times and was aware of their commitment to quality. I wandered into a packed bar and was lucky enough to snag a table from a party just leaving. I gladly helped clean the table and ordered a beer. After a quick look at the menu, I settled on fish and chips with the slaw and fries. Remembering how hard I’ve been burning, I also summoned the crab imperial with a blue cheese salad and mixed veg. Well, I have to say that those were probably the best fish n chips I’ve had anywhere. Chips were hot, crispy and perfectly salted. The fish filets had a fantastic crunch with a moist, fresh and flaky center. I can see myself returning soon for that at lunchtime. The cole slaw was good too! I devoured that plate of food. The crab imperial was just criminally indulgent. Creamy succulent texture. Rich, very fresh and perfectly seasoned. A pure crab lovers paradise. If there was any filler in there, I couldn’t see or taste it. All topped off with reasonable prices and fantastic service! The tunes were nice too! This was a real good time, and a delicious way to kick off the new year! Thanks guys!

Met a friend there for lunch on friday. We got there at 11:30 and there weren’t very many people inside. By the time we left around 1:00 the place was absolutely packed. If you’re going to go there for lunch I would definitely arrive before noon. I’ve been to this restaurant up in the Parkville area many many times in the past. The food was the same. I always go for the crab cakes whenever I go there. The service was good, the place was clean, the staff was nice, and there was plenty of parking.

When I say the cream of crab soup has jumbo lumps of crab in almost every spoonful!!!! And the crab cake is the same!!!! The service is always top tier and I almost forgot about the ranch dressing to the salad!!! Everything I’ve had there was very well prepared and tasty.
