18th Birthday Dinner with 32 guests

Charly please accept our heartfelt ♥️ and sincere thanks to you for your kind and patient manner as you gracefully dealt with our family fussiness with some of their meals

I was much less stressed with you there on the night taking control of everything

Moomo and the tall male waiter are so kind and friendly also

10/10 for venue, atmosphere and food ! Everything I ate was delicious. The prawn tortellini and the mushroom risotto were outstanding as were the accompanying garlic bread and salad. And of course the service outstanding

For such a great venue and high quality of food etc it was a very decent price !

Please also pass on our thanks to the bakery – the cake also received lots of positive feedback

It was a quiet Wednesday night so not many guests. The food, beer and service was great. Our meals were wonderful taste – beef and lamb cutlets. The beers were very good especially the Brown and red Ales even though they didn’t have an amber ale.

Franchise is an absolute gem and definitely punches way above its weight. Looks can be deceiving. What looks like just another brewery with basic bistro food is far from what you get.

The menu is considered, varied and caters for all food requirements. The meals we had were so well balanced it was hard not to think you were not sitting in Michelin Star restaurant.

Everything is made in premises and is absolutely amazing. The wine selection was also superb !

Oh and by the way the brew their own beer which I didn’t even get a chance to get to. Saving that for the next sitting.

Charlie was amazing and added that French European flair to the experience.

You must try!

Dropped by for the Oktoberfest event — the music was on, everyone was raising their big steins while I stuck with my schooner (not at that level yet ). German sausages and other classic dishes were on the menu that night. Such a great vibe at Frenchies Bistro & Brewery inside the Rosebery compound. Had the Double Phresh IPA — smooth with a nice, intense bitterness

Solid 4.5. The house cheeseburger is a great choice for a cheeky weekday lunch heading into the weekend. Comes with a small portion of fries as well to round out the meal. The burger is a good size without being too big that it makes you drop into a coma post eating. The house sauce is excellent.
Enjoy a light amber from the many beers on offer.
Good value for money all round.
Located in the Cannery, 2hr free parking onsite however does get very busy. There is also limited street parking available if you can get it.

Always super creative and delicious food, special menus are always a treat and offer great value for a nice night out. Their bakery section is fantastic and the bread is truly amazing. The pastries are just as good. Only wish the bakery stayed open a tad later as I tend to do evening shops and always regret missing out on the bread.

A stylish brewery and pub. Did not try the bier. The beef burger was a bit gamey. The fries were a bit bitter. Small portion with big price. Can do better.

We have been here for a few times and Frenchies has always been in our to-go list in the neighbour hood.

The beer is always amazing and you have a lot of options of flavours to pair with your dish on that night.

I loved one of their chef’s special on one of the weekend nights – the fish jus is beautiful, and the stuffed cucumber with cheese matches really well with the fish. And the fish is very well cooked.

The smoked dark breast is a bit salty to our taste (could pair well with La Perouse beer maybe) but the presentation and plating is lovely.

The new menu this season – quail two way is nice. Though I have to admit I am not able to find big different between roasting and confit, the special touch with foie gras inside the breast is the magic. The richness of foie gras and moisture of the breast meat plus the sauce still makes my mouth watering. The sweet potato puree with amazing acidity is balancing the whole dish.

We had their special Veal, Pork & Duck foie gras philviers raspberry bearnaise, french Lamb rack dauphinois gratin rosemary juice, their usual menu grilled beef eye fillet, frenchies cheeseburger and garlic bread. We felt like there are more to in the menu we should try but limited tummy space, we need to come again. The food did not disappoint and was pleasantly good – one of the best french restaurant we have been to. They brew their own beer but we didn’t try so that will be something to try next time.

The food was very good, very tasty as you would expect for this price point. The service is totally absent. We continually had to either go to the bar to ask for drinks or to wave our arms madly to attract attention to order either the food or more drinks. The wait staff don’t seem to look around or notice anything. Quite a frustrating experience.
