This is the best Subway in Birmingham! They are friendly, professional and they know their customers! I love that they recognize me and always know what I will order. Ordered BOGO through online app. Upon arrival, the owner had an attitude that my partner was watching the food being made. Whether I ordered online or in store, I still have to watch my sandwiches being made so, it’s correct! Ordered extra veggies and sauce on sandwiches through the app and when asked in person, the owner said the sandwich is already free so, you get what comes on it (nothing extra). I order here often and have never had an encounter like this. I will not be back due to the OWNER of the restaurant.

I will never eat at this Subway again. The Veterans Administration sent me a email saying that along with other restaurants, Subway was offering veterans a benefit to thank us for our service, in this case free 6 inch sub on Veterans Day. The email clearly said that Subway locations were owned by individual franchisees so some locations may not be participating.
With this in mind, I asked the gentleman behind the counter whether they were providing had a special free 6 inch sub for veterans. In a very strong foreign accent he said he hadn’t heard anything about it. I could see how some franchise owners may not won’t to participate in thanking veterans for their service, but I found it particularly strange that that would be the case anywhere in Alabama given the strong support of usually given to veterans in this state.
The fact that I did not get a sandwich at this subway location in itself is not a big deal. What I found offensive is that a franchise owner intentionally decided not to participate in an effort to thank veterans for their service and didn’t even. Inform their employee about the offer. Not only am I going to never use never step foot in this subway location again I’m going to spread the news that this franchise owner refuses to thank veterans for their service.

They don’t accept coupons. Would never have come here if I knew that, a footlong club sandwich is $13, which is ridiculous by itself. This is not an upscale sandwich shop, not sure why they price it like it is.
Save your money and go somewhere you can get good food for a good price. Will not be returning.

It is the usual high quality quick pick up sandwiches, but the night I was there (8:30 or so), you would never have known that it was such a late service request. The Subway staff was welcoming, very good humored and friendly. A nice end to a very long workday for me!

Every time I go into Subway I really feel like more people should know about it. I have been in here three times in the past 3 weeks, and each time I have been served by a different person with the service has been the same. That service has been simply awesome. I have no qualms with tipping the employees because they deserve it. One lady one time even offered me fresh cookies when I had to order them and she said they came right out of the oven and let me just tell you those jokers were so soft and delicious. Each time I’ve ordered a different sub, but it doesn’t matter they all taste great. Although I am a little frustrated with Subway and the price increase, that has nothing to do with the staff at this particular Subway. I encourage anyone who is in the Edwards lake Road area to come by and try the subway it’s located on the corner of the shopping center next to McDonald’s. Thank you so much to the staff and to the people that continually serve me here and put up with me.

I just left due to the worst customer service… They talked for 30-45 seconds before they acknowledged my family. Then when it was time to place my order the lady in the khaki shirt acted as if I was bothering her… The ppl they work during the weekdays give great service.
