It’s a small place outside of sommerville but the food is really good and it’s worth the drive. Get there early because they may run out of pork steak but overall it was a fantastic eating experience. I truly believe in supporting small businesses.

The few times i did stop by they were always very nice and the place had a positive atmosphere. The food is real good home cooking always warm and delicious. Super affordable as well

If you want real southern fried chicken, this is place to go for lunch. Hole in wall, but chicken is excellent. Potatoes are excellent. They turn off fryer around 3pm, so you must get there before they turn off heat. Ask for it fresh cooked, its worth the wait. They have a daily plate lunch, but I have never had it. Anout 20 mile round trip from Oakland.
