I came in for trivia night as my first time after my wife was there previously. She was not fond of things but decided to try again since it was extremely busy the first time she was there.
While there were a number of people when I got there, most had already ordered. I handed the server a piece of paper with my order after having to go find her as she walked by the table multiple times and didn’t even look at me. Whatever it’s busy so I’ll give her a pass. The food came to the table and it was not what I ordered. I received a dry “roast beef” sandwich with chip. No lettuce tomato or mayo or the fries I had requested. I sent it back and received the same sandwich with the stuff added to the middle and fries this time.
The sandwich was a 3 inch thick dry cold hoagie roll with a single thin slice of roast beef. The lettuce definitely was starting to go bad as I had to pull some very brown and wilted bits out. I literally didn’t taste any roast beef as I ate it. It was bread and lettuce. The fries were pretty decent though so that is a plus.
The wife had a chicken tender sandwich that she was very unhappy with and her previous experience was with the “hot” Philly cheese steak that was delivered cold with no cheese. The fix was a single slice of cold cheese to add to the cold bread and cold meat.
I won’t go into the poor attitude from the server that my wife dealt with prior to me arriving but we will not be going back and can not recommend this place at all.

Went during lunch to do a pickup order. The staff was busy but super nice and our food was good and fresh. The subs can be salads which my wife loved hers.

This place was a bit of a miss. The food was at best, okay. The sub I got was not great and the oney wife picked she chose not to finish. The place seemed like its time had past. We really wanted to like the place and drove out of our way to go but unfortunately it really was not great. My wife ordered a recomended seasonal drink not knowing it was alcoholic. That threw us.

Always meant to stop by, finally did. The subs were good. The bread was fresh and the ingredients were well made. I ordered roast beef sub and fries to go. The fries were so good. Lots of seating. Downside are major potholes on the drive to the parking lot.

Editing my once 5 star review from two years ago. Since changing ownership we’ve definitely noticed a change in the subs. The quality is not as good and they are majorly lacking any meat. We have gone several more times just to give it a chance because we love this place, but we’re really disappointed today. My partner got a 12 inch club and it was came with little to no meat. It was basically a lettuce sandwich with a single layer of meat. The old subs used to be loaded. I totally understand cutting back meat for costs but this isn’t even worth it and feels like I’m just eating bread with lettuce on it.

One of my absolute FAVORITE spots to go! I absolutely love the atmosphere, the food is always hot, comforting, and absolutely delicious. This is my go-to sandwich spot in Lynchburg. 12/10 wish I could come more often than I do! I absolutely recommend for a friend’s night out, birthday, or even just an after-work meal. Will keep coming back!

I called in an order for a couple of subs to go. The lady was pleasant and efficient on the phone.
Had a bit of an issue finding the joint but nothing we can’t handle.
Walked in and it looked clean and inviting. If we weren’t on our way somewhere I would have been very content there. Was greeted by a friendly woman, again very efficient. Got my subs and was gone in no time.
I am a bit of sandwich snob. This was a very good sub. The bread wasn’t dry, the veggies weren’t sloppy, the meat had good flavor and the mayo was the perfect amount. If I could’ve got cabbage instead of lettuce this sub would’ve been one of the best I’ve had (outside of Vermont). And the price was a bargain.
