The Verdict rooftop bar at The Abner Hotel is a stunning addition to the center of Litchfield. With sweeping views of the Litchfield Hills, an elevated yet inviting ambiance, and beautifully designed patio, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger.
We stopped in before dinner and enjoyed a few drinks an an appetizer outdoors with a few standout selections:
Spicy Mango Margarita – Bright and refreshing with just the right kick; the mango adds a smooth, summery twist.
Strawberry Shrub – A thoughtful non-alcoholic option, perfectly balanced with the tang of apple cider vinegar—ideal for warm evenings.
Mai Tai – A tropical, well-crafted cocktail that instantly transports you.

Had drinks and apps at the rooftop bar this weekend. It’s such a great location and place to have in Litchfield! Our drinks were decent but have room to be better for $16 a pop. I’d especially love to see the martini situation be in chilled glasses with sidecars to re-pour as you drink given it’s outside and warm. The hamachi was delicious as were the olives. Would definitely recommend for a pre-dinner excursion.
