My husband has always bragged about this place but when stop in there 8/11/25, I was disappointed. Did see the special (to light on the board) waitress didn’t even mention it. I ordered a hamburger and seasoned fries, the bun was hard tasted stale, you really couldn’t taste anything on the seasoned fries. Not once did my waitress come back.

Laid back diner that has great food and pleasant service. I have driven by many times and today was the day I decided to stop.. Fried catfish is amazing. Served with fries, tomato relish, slaw, pickle, and onion. Very affordable and they even have a pickup window! I will be visiting again when traveling.

I went there on Monday morning and it was different from when I came Saturday. The food was horrible. The catfish was not done. The onion rings was big as my head and no substance. It tastes like. I was eating crumb crust and it was falling off the onion rings. It was very horrible so I don’t know how to write them with that type of stuff. I am from Chicago and at first when I first went there that Saturday it was fine. But when I went back Monday whoever was cooking Monday before 12:00 or right there at 12:00. They do not. The lady said his name was Devon or Devon or something but I’m very displeased. I paid $15 for something that was horrible. So take your chances if you will and one more thing, even though it’s a country restaurant they still can fix it up. I sat on booth that the the leather or plastic whatever it was all tore up. That’s really unacceptable. Why would they want such a nice place to not have a good look? So I thought it was wonderful to look the way it was. But at least upgrade the seating. Have it recovered. Who wants to go in a place look like that I can’t give on that account. I can’t give them a good Mark. I’ll be back next year and I’ll see how they are when I get back

The catfish was pretty good the chicken tenders were excellent and the shrimp was excellent, we had appetizers of fried green beans, and cheese kurds they were both delicious

My wife and I stopped in on our way to Alabama from Oklahoma and we are glad we did. Fresh food and fast and friendly service. Carla served us and did an amazing job. If/when we pass through again we plan to stop.

The food was great. I had the half chef salad. It was just right. My husband had the special of the day which was chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy , corn and a roll. It was all delicious. Service was great.
