Atmosphere and service was on par with you typical sushi restaurant so no complaints there. The food however…… I dont know if I caught them on an off day but it was not good. The only flavor the sushi had was cucumber, the rice that came with my meal was like chewing rubber, the beverage had an off taste of chemicals and the lentil soup had a foul odor. To be honest im suspect that its precoocked and reheated to serve. Will not go again.

We ordered the two for 27.99 plus an extra appetizer. Service was great, they greeted us and got us seated super quick. Food was excellent and arrived quickly even though they were busy with to go orders.

This place has some decent sushi, but the service was terrible. Had to wait several minutes after being seated to order a drink. Waited some more to place an order. Server was completely inept.
The salads we were served were comedically small, about four bites, and drenched in watered down yum yum sauce. Miso soup was just like the instant kind from an asian market. The chicken and steak hibachi was fine, no complaints. Sushi was the highlight of the meal, very good.
After finishing eating, had to wait about 10 minutes to flag another server over to tell them to bring a check and a to go box. Then another 15 minutes just to pay so we could leave. Food was not worth the wait. Order to go or not at all. Shame.

I always have the Gecko Maki here, and it’s one of my favorite rolls of all time. It’s so pretty and delicious. Both my daughters like to pick this as one of their primary eating places when I go to visit them at Centre. While it’s not cheap, it’s not ridiculously expensive either. It’s just a nice, quiet place to have decent sushi in Danville, Kentucky.

Wow! Danville do not sleep on this Japanese restaurant. The food is amazing and very affordable. For $12 you can get salad, soup, rice, veggies, chicken and noodles. A lot of food for the price. The restaurant is clean and quiet. The only complaints I have is they don’t cook the food in front of you and the veggies are on the small side. I would love bigger and crunchier veggies.

My first visit, I wanted it to be soooo much more! Never ate here, thought I’d try some take out. Greeted quickly,she gave me a menu and gave me a few minutes. Placed order and food came out quickly to go.
Beware the charge extra for sauces that are free if you eat in. I ordered a California Roll and Teriyaki Chicken with fried rice. The California Roll was good, the Teriyaki Chicken was lacking. More sauce than rice or chicken. The portions were lacking for price. Rice was mushy and chicken was rubbery.
Overall, okay, food for takeout. Not sure if I’d spend the money to try again!
