The first thing that stands out is the value; the prices are incredibly affordable compared to other Indian restaurants in the area. The portion sizes and food quality at this price point are truly unmatched. On top of that, the staff was friendly and efficient. The appetizers and Biryani were definitely the highlights of the meal!

Zyka used to be a great place for Indian cuisine, but unfortunately the quality has declined significantly. Prices have remained high, yet the food quality is no longer acceptable.
On New Year’s Eve 2025, my family stopped by to pick up food on our way home, and it turned into a complete food disaster. The biryani was excessively greasy and unappetizing, and the chicken kabob was undercooked. We were genuinely concerned about getting sick and couldn’t finish the meal.
This experience was extremely disappointing, especially given Zyka’s reputation in the past. Sadly, I don’t think I will ever return.

I genuinely appreciate the quality of the food the flavors are always excellent, and the staff is very cooperative and respectful. I truly enjoy coming to this place because the service and overall experience are usually great.
However, I was disappointed with the quantity and quality of the mutton in the biryani priced at $16.99. The rice portion is good, but there were only four small pieces of mutton. This has happened the last 2–3 times as well. On top of that, the pieces contain very little meat and are mostly bones.
I completely understand that mutton is expensive, but as a customer, I don’t feel I am receiving good value for the price. I am attaching the images for reference.
I really like this place and the staff, which is why I wanted to share this feedback respectfully and honestly. I hope this can be considered for improvement.
Thank you for your understanding.

Heard their biryanis are great. But it was sub par. Mutton biryani was good but chicken biryani and chicken tikka masala were quite disappointing, lacking flavour. They have haleem in the menu but said that they wont serve it always. Ras malai was good. And for some reason they’re serving in a very small paper plates. Having to ask extra plates was uncomfortable, cause how are we gonna eat out of a fully stuffed plate? Lots of room for improvement since it’s in prime area as well. It’s self service, people working there are prompt and ambience was alright.

I visited Zyka for the first time after hearing from a friend that it’s the best Indian spot in Atlanta. Unfortunately, I found the food to be pretty average overall. The portions were generous, and the meat was tender enough, but the biryani especially their signature one just lacked that authentic flavor punch I was expecting. At $14.99 for a self-serve plate, it felt underwhelming.
I’ve tried over 20 Indian restaurants around Atlanta, and I’d rank this one as solidly middle-of-the-pack, at least when it comes to the biryani. The butter chicken was another letdown; it tasted quite watered down.
I went in with high hopes, especially seeing the high review count and solid rating, but there was a real disconnect for me. Maybe it was an off night, or perhaps the place has gone downhill over time who knows? The staff was friendly, and the food came out quickly, which was nice. That said, I probably won’t be back. If you’ve got other options in the area, I’d suggest checking those out instead.

I recommend the vegetable Samosas, flavorful. I also ordered the chicken 65 which actually is tender chicken, but a little spicy. The naan bread is authentic! I definitely will return and try different dishes.

I ordered the goat biryani, and the taste was really good. However, the quantity was quite small for the price. Overall, good flavor but the portion size could be improved.

I gave it three stars because I expected a full-service experience, but this isn’t that kind of place. If you’re looking for table service, this isn’t the spot. I was also disappointed that the food was served in plastic containers with plastic utensils. The food itself was decent, but overall, I don’t think I’ll be going back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)

I stopped by Zyka for dinner and overall had a really good experience! I knew it was going to be a great restaurant based on who I saw ordering when I walked in, and it definitely lived up to that first impression.
• Chicken Tikka Masala – Fresh, hot, and flavorful. Definitely one of the highlights.
• Bhindi Masala – Tasty with great texture, though it had a little more spice than I expected.
• Naan & Rice – Both were solid. The naan was soft and fresh, and the rice portion was generous—definitely enough to share.
• Mango Lassi – The only miss for me. The flavor leaned artificial and didn’t sit quite right.

Service was quick, and everything came out hot. I arrived right after they opened (around 6 p.m.), and by the time I was leaving, the parking lot was completely full. They also have a banquet hall, which probably explains the extra crowd. All in all, it’s a popular spot with good food worth coming back for—just might skip the lassi next time.
