Let me start off by saying I was apprehensive by reading the reviews, but do not let that detour you from coming. If you do not know what a gordita is, please do your research before you come to eat here they were the perfect size, had plenty of filling and tasted delicious. I ordered a bean and cheese gordita along with rajas con queso, and Asada con queso. All of them were so good. Two were plenty to make me full so eating three I was stuffed. So if you have a big appetite 3-4 is more than enough. Even the salsas at the table were tasty. I had no issues with parking and service was good. The restaurant was quaint and very clean. I will be back

This place looks small from the outside but isn’t at all. It was my first time here amd it was woow. Friendly service and the gorditas OMG they were amazing. So fresh and delicious, the prices are decent. We had to take some to go we reheated them for dinner and they tasted as fresh as they did when we were on the resturant. Highly recommend!!

I ordered a gordita steak and poblano pepper it was rather small for the price. It lacked any flavor at all. It’s a shame there are some good restaurants in East Chicago. But if you’re going to do Mexican in East Chicago where there’s 50 Mexican restaurants within a 3-mile area you should do something that shines not just the bland same old same old crap. I would recommend going to El Paso grill on railroad and Columbus in East Chicago that’s probably the best Mexican in town save your money this place is trash.

Where do I start… Atmosphere could’ve been more inviting. Didn’t know if we were supposed to wait to be seated. Food was greasy, lack in taste and not enough. They need to expand there menu. Parking lot in front is hectic. They need to add delivery. Clearly in my eyes they weren’t ready to open.
