This review is based on my preferences, so I gave it a 4, but it could easily be a 5 to others. The staff was friendly, and the inside was clean. I’ll start with what was good: the Mei fun, takoyaki, and the (delicious) egg roll. What lacked for me were the soups and the sesame chicken. I can see many people loving the sesame chicken, but I like mine drenched in sauce, and this felt like a healthier version with a glazed grilled chicken taste. I am also not the biggest fan of Asian soups but I always try them in case I find one that changes my mind. People may love the soups as well.

Westerville’s Great Asian Restaurant is a reliable choice for a satisfying meal! We especially enjoyed the classic offerings, which were executed perfectly. The Egg Rolls were wonderfully crispy on the outside and packed with a flavorful, traditional filling—a great start to the meal. The General Tso’s Chicken was the star of the show; the sauce struck a great balance between sweet and spicy, and the chicken itself was tender with a nice crunch. To round out the order, the Thai Grilled Shrimp provided a lovely, light counterpoint. The shrimp were large, cooked just right, and had a fantastic grilled flavor that kept things fresh and savory. A great blend of Chinese and Thai flavors all in one spot!

I finally got to try this place again after many, many years! We had dinner a little early and got the opportunity to pick our seats. The lady that was working was super efficient and nice. She seemed a little confused that we were wanting to dine in. What was amusing is that once we sat down two additional parties came in. Our orders were taken with accuracy and food was delivered super quickly and nice n’ hot. I liked the egg roll very much, when they served it it is had both a hot mustard and a sweeter red sauce. I enjoyed the simple presentation. I ordered for my main meal a dish like the triple crown for my main meal but it was happy… Something with brown sauce. The sauce was a little overkill, but tasted good non the less. Overall the prices were decent, service was attentive and fast, plus the food was great. I’d definitely recommend this Chinese spot.

We recently ate in the restaurant on a Tuesday, and we regularly get carry out. We enjoy the teriyaki chicken, the Thai chicken, the pad Thai, and the Buddhist delight. We love having this restaurant with high quality nutritious food close to home. This place is a gem!

A great place for Asian food!! The egg roll was not only huge, but tasted great and was not greasy! We had different food orders so we could taste the different ones and oh my gosh…. all of it was good!
I’ve had hair in my food at Lucky House (three times!) so I quit eating Asian last year.
Found this place and it made me happy!
The waitress was really nice, the place was clean and not too noisy. Lots of parking.

This is a lovely little restaurant. Nice relaxing music and nice decor. The food and service were very good! The only thing preventing a 5 star is that the portion seemed a little small compared to other Chinese restaurants. I was there for lunch and got Won Ton Soup, Egg Roll and War Su Gai. The soup was good but two won tons and that’s about it. The Egg Roll was loaded and really the highlight of the meal. The War Su Gai came with one small thin chicken breast. It was delicious! The yellow gravy was very reminiscent of Ding Ho way back when. It was very very good. I almost ordered a second meal. It was plenty.

Not your standard funky Chinese food. Better quality meat and ingredients. Fresher tastes and great selection.
Not a fan of the crab Rangoon – they use imitation crab, and it isn’t as good as other places nearby. The General Tso’s is great and their salad with Asian dressing is cravable. They are always so nice and friendly when we either dine in or take out. I prefer their egg rolls over their spring rolls and the edamame and lettuce wraps are a favorite.

Well, it’s hard to rate this place. While the food was very good, there was no one else in there at the height of a weekday lunchtime. Makes you wonder, right? Not just that, but that takes away from the atmosphere, the feeling.
However, the food was very good, the service was good, and I liked the decor. It was easy to get to and parking was easy. If I worked a desk job, I would put this on my go-to list to get a quick lunch. As it is, I don’t need to eat lunch out very often at all, so I will likely reserve this place for eating lunch with my friends who have desk jobs (which is how I ended up there in the first place).

I came in to Great Asian because I hadn’t been there in years, & I had a great experience there before. I was greated by a friendly lady, & she was very helpful when I asked her questions about the menu. She had a very bubbly personality.
I ordered the hot & sour soup, crab Rangoon, & the walnut chicken (an item that I’ve never had before). My wait was very short for my To Go order (10 minutes or less). My food stayed hot by the time I got home. The food was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend trying Great Asian!
