Locally owned Upscale Italian restaurant. Il Palio offers simply prepared regional Italian cooking that is served in a comfortable dining room. The menu has shareable starters and fresh antipasti, rustic house made pastas, and a great selection of main courses from our new wood fired grill. The desserts menu has classics like tiramisu but also offers house spun gelatos and some unique takes on other Italian sweets.

I loved my breakfast here!! Everything was perfect, the place is cute the service is awesome our waiter was really nice. I totally recommend the smoke salmon! We got the açaí bowl as well and was great, the egg Benedict, cappuccino and coffee. I want to come back dinner time

Phenomenal. A very easy 5 stars. The whole staff took amazing care of us. They gave us the best booth in the house and were all very friendly. The tenderloin was very rich, extremely flavorful, and the cream sauce was outstanding. The clams in the linguine alle vongole were very sweet and the handmade pasta was fabulous. The chef sent out free dessert for us- almond cake. And after finding out I am allergic to almonds, immediately brought out a slice of cheesecake and left the almond cake for my boyfriend to eat. Such an overall wonderful experience! World class.

Me and my partner love this place! Such a great date night spot. Definitely some of, if not the best, Italian food in the triangle. Service is always so great! Super friendly and accommodating staff with some talented cooks and bartenders. We love this place so much it’s our go to for special occasions. They also are great at accommodating vegetarian diets. The focaccia is insane!

This place is unbelievable! Beautiful atmosphere great service and quality food!!! As it was our fist time there we ordered almost the whole menu everything was delicious from the original appetizers: meatballs freshly made with actual meat, the super soft juicy and full of flavor grilled octopus and the bruschetta with onions and an amazing jam to the fresh pasta either bolognese pappardelle or truffle tagliatelle and for deserts amazing gelato or sorbet and of course tiramisu and lemon blueberry jam cheesecake!!!!!

We were staying in the hotel for our anniversary and decided to eat at Il Palio. We were impressed from the start – the warm welcome, the offer of anniversary drinks, the very attentive staff. We decided to order the Chef’s Tasting Menu since it was a special occasion and everything on the menu was unique – we were so amazed with the exceptional taste, variety, and presentation. We enjoyed dishes we probably would not have ordered as we tend to stick to what is familiar. The chef stopped by to speak to us several times and it was so interesting to hear him speak passionately about his work. I am so glad we decided to do the Chef’s Tasting – it was a uniquely delicious experience. Highly recommend this restaurant for the food, the service, and the unique experience – by the time we left, we felt like family. Amaya, Spencer, Andrew, and Bob as well as others made this a truly great anniversary dinner!

Came here for the first time last night on an anniversary dinner and had the best time ever! Got awesome service and amazing food. 10/10 on everything! We had the pleasure of trying the asparagus appetizer, octopus, carbonara, beef tenderloin macchiato, scallops, chocolate torte and the tiramisu. It was amazing!! Can’t wait to come back!

Breakfast: Between the espresso drinks and the bagels I think I found my new go-to breakfast place. The salmon bagel entree was huge and delicious. Definitely enough for 2 or leftovers.
Dinner: We absolutely loved our dinner evening. Food & drinks were delicious. Staff was attentive & friendly. I had the Il Cavallo Rosso cocktail. It was amazing. Just a hint of fall flavor. I know it’s part of their summer drinks but I hope it stays around for the fall. The Tennessee Mule was delicious. The Salmon appetizer and the entrees were wonderful. The chocolate torte & coffee was a perfect end to a delicious dinner. We will /hope to come bk soon.
