Harpoon Harry’s Crab House, located in the heart of downtown Tampa, features fresh seafood, sushi, steaks, crab steam pots and signature American cuisine dishes. We are conveniently located steps from the Tampa Convention Center, several downtown hotels, and notably Benchmark Arena – Go Bolts! We offer a multi-level dining experience with both indoor and outdoor dining, serving lunch and dinner with a full bar. Large groups and private events are welcome; we can accommodate guests up to 800. Harpoon Harry’s is located close to two Trolley stops. Please call for information on parking (813) 321-4040.

The sushi was excellent, the appetizers were lovely, and the cocktails were on point. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and well done.
It was unusually quiet because of the Stadium Series game, which actually made it perfect for easy conversation and catching up with my gal friends. Relaxed, tasty, and a really enjoyable night overall. Would definitely go back! ✨

My wife and I decided to go to Harry’s for dinner on Valentine’s Day. We did not have reservations but we were seated right away. We greeted immediately and treated well right away. After a short wait we were seated. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. For an appetizer we ordered the coconut shrimp. The plate comes with 6 shrimp not 4 like pictures below. I forgot to take a picture before we started eating it. Delicious. I had the shrimp and grits my wife ordered the stuffed crab shrimp. Everything was spectacular. We didn’t have dessert because we were full but I’m sure that would have been delicious as well. Finally, the price for everything including wine was below $100. Great time great food great service. Highly recommended if you are in the Tampa channelside district by the convention center.

We were here during the pirate festival and it was relatively busy but a perfect atmosphere. The staff was helpful and the food was so good. My husband had the fish and chips. We are partial to North Sea haddock so it was a treat that Harpoons has it! My shrimp boil was PERFECTION!

I had the shrimp and grits. I was definitely pleased with my meal! It was well seasoned and the shrimp were much larger than I anticipated which was a nice surprise. There was also a good amount of them in the grits. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
The bread bowl was delicious as well. The only complaint I heard from someone is that the calamari could have had a little more seasoning but everything else including the atmosphere was fabulous!

The blackened grouper sandwich and fries were very good! I also ordered calamari as an appetizer. It was terrible. It absolutely had no taste. The marinara didn’t taste good. I would NEVER order those again. Also, the menu says one price, but the receipt has a different price. They add in cents nearly another dollar to each item. I don’t really like that, it feels dishonest. Most people might not care, but I do! I probably wouldn’t be dying to go back.

The food. The atmosphere. The SERVICE. We will be back EVERY time we’re in Tampa. I wish I remembered the name of our waiter, but I will tell you we never went without anything. Water? Topped everything few minutes. Drinks to perfection. There’s a reason the Chef’s name is on the menu. Glorious.

The food was absolutely delicious! The crab cakes were flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the spinach artichoke dip with the blue crab topper was chef’s kiss—a must-try! Everything tasted fresh and was surprisingly affordable for the quality.
Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for great seafood, great service, and a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

The best fish I have ever eaten. My first time I’ve tried scallops and I liked them a lot! An excellent food, a very attentive staff! Highly recommended!
