This place had some delicious food! Large portions, great service and authentic cuisine. We came here for a double date and had a great time! We loved it. We were first served free bread & oil. We ordered the calamari (which was divine) as an appetizer. My husband got the chicken Alfredo and I got the tortellini pesto. You can request homemade pasta for an up charge of $3 and we did. It was absolutely amazing. The ambiance was very snug, it felt like we were right on top of other people but that’s what you get in Boston. Everything else was great. Will definitely be back.

This has to be the best gluten free pasta ever. I am not gluten free and came here with some gluten free friends. We planned on splitting dishes, and I was a little nervous because gluten free pasta often has a grainy or unfamiliar texture. Y’all this pasta was SO GOOD, if it weren’t for the little allergen flag they put in the center of the dishes I would have thought that they made a mistake and served us normal pasta. They even had a gluten free chocolate lava cake that was absolutely delicious (not as good as the pasta, though).

The atmosphere was also very cute, casual, and rustic — lots of wood and brick. The service initially felt a little cold and disorganized, but once we got our assigned server to our table she was very sweet and accommodating, especially given the range of allergies at our table. I would definitely love to come back here and try their gluten pasta at some point!

First time ever trying authentic Italian-American food! I come from a place where most the Italian places are chains, so going to a restaurant where all is made fresh to order is a astounding! The pasta is made in house and it’s perfectly al dente! Spinach ravioli was a favorite on the table, and the Spicy Alfredo sausage was awesome! To finish off, nice cold tiramisu that’s practically a loaf to yourself! Thank you guys for making this evening awesome! The waitress was incredibly understanding and helpful. The owner walked around and talking to people which made it feel even more comfortable and authentic! Will be coming back to Boston just for this meal!

La Famiglia Giorgio’s Restaurant was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Boston. This place is absolutely wonderful, not only because the food is incredible, but also because they offer excellent gluten-free options and take every accommodation seriously. As someone who is gluten-free, I felt completely safe and cared for the entire night. They’ve won several awards, and honestly, they deserve every single one. From the appetizers to the main dishes and the wine selection, everything was divine. My husband and I were genuinely surprised by how exceptional the entire experience was. The flavors, the portions, the atmosphere, everything was a 10/10.
We left already talking about how much we want to come back. If you’re visiting Boston, this restaurant is an absolute must!

Me and my girl shared Chicken Cacciatore and Walnut and Gorgonzola salad. The salad was so fresh so much feta cheese. The chicken cacciatore was out of this world. The flavors of the spicy sauce with the fettuccine pasta came together nicely. The bread was so good as well. Great service and close it off no fee for using a credit card!!!!! A must restaurant in Boston north end to enjoy delicious Italian food.

La Famiglia Giorgio’s Restaurant, Salem Street, North End.

Busy! Reservations! Yes x2!

Worth it! Service, meals, decor and experience are wonderful. La Famiglia gets it right. Many choices in the north end for Italian food. La Famiglia is right on.

Ample menu, excellent wine list.

This should be on your list to try.

Amazing food and experience! The service was astounding – we received water and bread the second we sat down on a busy Friday night. Our server, Rosann, was delightful and perfectly attentive! The food was to DIE for – we had chicken parm and chicken broccoli alfredo. The atmosphere was the perfect mix of old school Italian and Boston. 100/10 will be back!!!

The restaurant (and the North End!) can get quite busy even on a weeknight, although we didn’t have a reservation for a larger party. Service was pretty attentive, though there was a bit of a wait for the food.

The complimentary bread was excellent, with just the right level of crunch. Every person is required to order at least one food item (no dollar minimum, but drinks don’t count). Most of us ended up with an appetizer or side, but I was impressed that they still came out with substantial portion sizes!

Two of us split the pumpkin ravioli, which comes with 6 pieces for the appetizer. It’s too sweet, and while I wouldn’t order it again, I’m not disappointed either.

The meatball and steamed broccoli sides were also okay but didn’t stand out for taste, though were much more filling than anticipated.
