Late Mothers Day Lunch
This restaurant has so much potential but obvious problems of management and kitchen will remain a difficult issue to solve.
We arrived at the restaurant at 14:15 and there were only a few tables.
We ordered the simplest of foods. The menu options were a nice change to classic dishes served in most restaurants. We ordered an appetizer of lobster bisque then tomato-mozzarella, perch sandwich and a burger. We were served +50 minutes later and the issue is that the bisque arrived about 10 minutes after our main….
The food was pretty basic but the frozen French fries (that were listed as “seasoned fries” were inedible. No seasoning nor fresh….
I think it’s safe to say, if you go, you’re going for the beautiful location and nice interior design and not for the food.
Lisa, who took care of our table was a delight, very professional and apologetic for the delay of our food.
Shame, a seasonal restaurant with so much potential to not be able to demonstrate success.

Great place if you’re staying nearby. My order came sandwich style vs entree style, which was how it was originally ordered. Still good though. Fresh walleye bites were delicious. The view of the bay was the best part. Can’t beat the atmosphere. Server was nice, but didn’t know some of the menu items. Sprite was 100% carbonated water, but we were told it was fine, but drink was replaced with a different product. All in all, good meal, awesome view, and if we ever return to the area, we would return to this restaurant.

We stopped at PCW while out on the boat and what a hidden gem this is!! The atmosphere is so inviting with an amazing patio. Inside is beautifully decorated as well. I had the Habanero Lime Mac & Cheese and it was so tasty, not overly spicy and the lime was a great compliment to this dish. Highly recommended stop for lunch if you’re in the area!

Arrvied by boat around 4:30. Docks are easily accessible and in great shape. The lobster grilled cheese was phenomenal. Service was polite, friendly and fast. I wish I lived closer and could come back more often.

Had the Lobster Grilled Cheese and it was amazing, very tasty. The Banana Bread Old Fashioned was also very good. The atmosphere is very nice by the water as well. Service could be faster but the food/drinks makes up for it. New go to spot when I visit Sandusky in the summer.

Great vibes and views!! Such a cool spot to visit! Service was 5* – Jocelyn is fantastic! Docks are great! Apps/drinks were great! Will be back again for sure for lunch/dinner!! Extra bonus for being dog friendly and bringing out a dog dish & water dish without being asked!

So I live in a boating community and several residents had told me the same thing… Good Food, Long Wait. That’s pretty much was my experience.
I will say when we arrived there was one table outside and us inside. So not busy. We were initially waited on by the bartender. She was nice and on it initially. However, as the restaurant became busier, about half full, there seemed to be some communication break down. We were then checked on by another server, which was fine. But minutes later by the bartender, which again, fine. But the bartender said, I’m sorry for the wait… my reply was no big deal another server, just checked on us. Then, I think the other thought the other was helping us and we ended up sitting waiting for any other service or attention. Once we got our bill, it was about another 20 minutes to let us pay them.
So like I said, good food, slow service, as I was told.
I went through many reviews prior to posting and find it unique the owner says we don’t make excuses but then continues in the response to make an excuse.
I get the industry is tough, help is hard to come by and things are made from scratch but seat the restaurant to your ability not to capacity if you can’t manage to give the deserved attention in a timely manner.
Again, good food, will be back but hopefully under better service. Definitely a nice addition to the area!

A little disappointed by the food. We had a party of 7 people, the foid came out cold and couple of dishes (steaks) had to be sent back because they were more then well done (when we ordered medium rare).
Other then that, the wait was a bit longer then we would have liked. The hosts and servants were wonderful, friendly and accommodating.
Kitchen probably needs a bit help, since we got the sence that they were overwhelmed (mind you,It was 4th of July)
We will give this place another chance. It does have a great potential.

Had a nice evening out with another couple. Waitress was great! When waitress came with the bill, my friend and I jokingly argued who was going to pay. As waitress was walking away, I stated “no wait, take my card, here, here” I tossed my card in her direction, as I was over 10 ft away, but it fell several feet away from her. She walked over to pick it up, laughed, and handed it to my friend and proceeded to cash out with my friends card. Five minutes later another waitress/manager and Female bartender came over and asked me to leave. She said “I assaulted the waitress by throwing my credit card at her” (which landed closer to me than her). As I was leaving the waitress was seen crying and pleading the waitress/manager who kicked me out to stop. She knew we were joking around and meant no harm and tried to stop her. This place is a joke, and all the locals I know will not be going to this establishment. No way to treat locals not to mention food is overpriced and mediocre at best.

The restaurant was very aesthetic and the food was awesome. It was our first time in and we loved everything. Emma was our server and she was great. We also loved the complimentary docks, they were very convenient. We will definitely be back!
