Oh my goodness!! Was looking for a place with great pizza and chat directed me to choose from three… I chose Owls Nest and it did not disappoint!!! It’s kind of a hole in the wall but as expected they are always the best places to eat! Pizza was the best I’ve had in awhile!! Crust was soft but done and don’t ask me why but the cheese tasted better than other pizzas I’ve had!! I’m a weirdo lol! So if you are around the Lake Saranac area and craving pizza, eat in or grab one from the Owls Nest!

Pizzeria was a solid choice! Pizza hit the spot, nothing mind-blowing but good enough to satisfy the craving. Would go back, especially for the price point.

Great pizza and garlic knots. We were in town for five days and ate here twice. The girl of concerts are small, but super tasty and both the pepperoni and buffalo pizza we got were great.

The pizza here is pretty good, but it did remind me of a $7 frozen pizza. I did like the ability to build your own slice though. The atmosphere is pretty dark and dingy so I’d recommend taking your pizza elsewhere to eat.

I don’t come to SL often but I like to grab a slice when I can. Pricing is pretty fair, a little on the expensive side but what isn’t nowadays. And the pizza is great. Closest to a Brooklyn slice I’ve had in the North Country, also appreciate that they have a giant 20″ pie. Service is good as well and the guys running shop are nice but I will say the hours of operation are a bit inconvenient. Overall a great little local staple of a shop, I’d recommend it to anyone in the mood for pizza.

When there is such a small geographic area and only a handful of pizza places, it is easy to say “I tried all the places in town, and this is the best one”. So, here we are. I tried all the places in town, and this is the best one. Service is dependent on who is working (I know not one single name) but the pizza is worth the trouble.

Pizza taste was ok, but the dough left little to be desired as it was more like bread. Unless it is Chicage style pizza, the crust should be thin and crispy. Prices are reasonable.

We did take out, I have to say this girl from Brooklyn thought the pizzas I bought were exceptionally good! And the price was very fair!

I’ve been enjoying this pizza since the 1980s. I’m now 52 and it’s still the best pizza I’ve ever had (even now, living just 1 hour North of the pizza capital, NYC). Owl’s Nest is my must stop, when I return to town for visits. Just wish they were still open on weekends.
