Talk about a WHOLE VIBE!! My Bestie located this spot on Instagram promoted by the Flyest Events crew for a Velvet Nights: After Seven Dinner Experience and the hype did not disappoint.
The space is huge, big ole bar, spacious seating at tables and couches to lounge. I read that they have an upstairs area with a retractable top but upstairs was closed. The DJ played hit after hit, after hit of RnB music, had the place swooning all night. We had 8:30 reservations and it wasn’t too crowded, but within 30 minutes it was a pretty big crowd but not packed in & overcrowded, just right.
The setup was a prefixed menu that included an appetizer, entree and a dessert, $65 flat plus the mandatory $15 gratuity, so you pay $80 at the hostess check-in before even being seated. This did not cover the drinks, which were at a minimum $20. You have 90 minute table time but since the upstairs was closed we were allowed to remain at our table eating and remain sipping on our drinks.
We ordered the crab balls as the appetizer, the Lamb Chop dinner, the Salmon dinner and red velvet cake for dessert. The food was tasty enough and not overcooked.
Our waitress was great, she explained everything thoroughly, checked on us frequently and our food came out in a timely manner.
The promoters got this right, the vibe and atmosphere was worth the price tag. Folks were on their grown & sexy tip and everyone was friendly. I laughed with one of the promoters when I showed him my outfit telling him I took the flyer literally a time was had! The food, the drinks (appropriately strong) and the music, all top tier and ON POINT!! We will definitely be back on a Friday. Cant wait to experience their upstairs/rooftop area.

They were a little late getting started. Great buffet brunch, great drinks. Every staff there was friendly and attentive. The music was good. Great vibes! Will definitely be back!

I went back for my friends birthday and she loved it!! Amazing vibes. Great staff that constantly came around to check if you needed anything. Lots of options on the buffet. The DJ was doing his thing!! Loved my drinks. GET THE SUGAR DADDY!! This drink was sooooo good?

Valentine’s Day Brunch was a vibe; it felt like an R&B sing-along. The food was great—the jerk wings were my favorite! It would have been nice to have real silverware, though. Awesome DJ and the rooftop was nice for taking photos!

A group of us of 6 made brunch reservations for 1pm on Sat Oct 11. It was totally empty! They charged us as we walked in before being seated for $75 each and forced to pay tip before services rendered.
*Food was buffet style, bland and cold.
*Mimosas were pre-mixed and watered down.
*DJ was trash.
*Atmosphere was horrible, there was no one else there, totally empty.
*Bad service, even with no other customers being served.
I am certain it was empty due to overpriced, bad food and watered down mimosas for $75 + tip before seated and served. Will never return!!

We came for Saturday brunch and were met with excellent customer service. Our server India was kind, attentive, and absolutely amazing. I would recommend this brunch to anyone and I rate it a 10 out of 10. Also, the food was to die for, an absolute culinary delight! We will be back!

Bryonia took great care of us at Citizen and Culture. She was attentive without hovering, kept everything running smoothly, and had a really warm, professional vibe the whole time. Our drinks and food came out quickly, and she checked in at just the right moments. Definitely one of those servers who makes the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. Would be happy to be in her section again.

Truthfully i want to shared my appreciation for the incredible experience at citizen of culture. The energy was great, with a chill atmosphere that perfectly balanced professionalism and fun. The staff were engaging and attentive, making the entire event feel special.

Stopped here for a meal on a business trip. Ended up ordering a happy hour drink and appetizer and some (truly incredible) sauteed spinach. Perfect for this solo traveler. The first Old Fashioned I ordered (Happy Hour!) was way too sweet (you might want to ask them to go easy on the simple syrup)- but that was cheerfully replaced with a delicious one (let’s not cover up that Bulliet Bourbon!) Excellent food, excellent service. The only thing that seemed out of place was the very loud music and announcements out on the sidewalk. (Seemed a little more appropriate to Key West at Spring Break.) I almost didn’t go in, but inside it was much better. The outside vibe did not match the inside.

$50 food & $25 for unlimited mimosas. They require you to pay the $50 upon arrival. After walking up a lot of steps you are greeted by plastic card tables and plastic fold up chairs. The buffet is mediocre at best and the flatware is the plastic takeout utensil pack (the cheap one). The mimosas are incredibly watered down. 2 Don Julio shots was $50 and served in plastic cups. The restaurant downstairs looks more VIP in comparison. The staff seemed unhappy about working but the manager was cool.
