This was hands down one of the best delivery experiences I’ve ever had. Not only was the food absolutely delicious — fresh, hot, and full of flavor — but the customer service was truly exceptional.
I ordered two entrées, white rice, and fried wontons without the filling. The owner actually called me immediately to let me know my meals already came with rice, refunded me for what I didn’t need, and even comped the fried wontons since they normally come free with soup. He easily could have just taken my money, but instead he went out of his way to be honest and kind.
That level of integrity is so rare, and it genuinely meant a lot. On top of that, everything tasted amazing and the portions were generous.
Wonderful food, wonderful people — I’ll absolutely be ordering again. Highly recommend!

I heard there was an ownership change recently. We’ve ordered from Mei Hoo over years and was worried about some of the social media reviews lately after the ownership change. We did a delivery order and everything was just as good as usual. It arrived promptly and the driver was very nice. The food quality was as expected for traditional Chinese favorites. I appreciate they still offer some items in both small and large boxes where many Chinese restaurants have switched to large only and jacked their prices.

I have never given a review of a local restaurant before, but in light of the many unfair reviews I felt I had too. Mei Hoo has been our go to place since The China Star burned down. I ordered my usual. House fried rice, chicken fingers, and crab rangoon. The house rice was tasty with large pieces of pork, chicken and shrimp. The crab rangoon were good. The chicken fingers were large. A different batter. The type that you would find at the Lilac Blossom. The were good. They removed the Covid era “sneeze” guards and are cleaning up the place. Change can be good. I am definitely going to continue going.

The inside is mostly the same but it seems some of their menued items have changed a bit. The vegetable mei foon now uses those fat rice noodles rather than the long skinny ones. They accurately produced my order as requested as well. It was all pritty good.
The new staff was friendly. I have high hopes this place will inproove with the new staff as the prior staff had problems with order accuracy and some staff memebers who could come off as a bit abraisive.
Deffinatly worth a look if you have a craving for some yummy chinese food, i will definatly be comeing back to see how things change, especally that singapore meifoon dish.

I have been a true customer to Mei hoo for many years. I just visited them Friday under the new management.
Unfortunately I was very disappointed.
The gentleman that took my order was very kind and friendly.
The food was not good at all.
The rice was dry and without flavor.
The boneless spare ribs were undercooked, like chewing a peice of rubber, and didn’t have the flavor od boneless spare ribs. The teriyaki sticks, were actually raw in some thicker spots and the chicken fingers were saturated with oil, like the oil wasn’t hot enough.
I had one small helping and threw the rest away. I had a very upset stomach the rest of the day.
Not sure if I will return.

I have be a customer of this please for over 12 years and The food is always been good and consistent. We ordered food from there today after a four month hiatus from the place and everything was completely wrong. The duck sauce is completely different. It’s not the deep brown colored thick one that they used to have it is the light cheap one all the food is completely totally different. The fried chicken wings is different. Everything completely taste different. they used to have the best crab Rangoon in the area now they went from the best to the worst their lobster sauce used to be thick brown, thick gravy now it’s watery it smells horrible taste horrible. I called and asked if they are under new management and they’re telling me that they are not but they definitely have changed all their recipes did my usual order of a poo poo platter for two and that comes typically with a large pork fried rice and the cranberry Rangoon and lobster sauce, and I got a little tiny thing of white rice which she says comes with the lobster sauce, which I have never gotten that in the past that is new a small pork fried rice instead of the big tray of pork fried rice everything was just completely wrong utterly disgusting through all the food away after spending $60 was the biggest mistake I made today Totally encourage everyone to boycott and avoid this place. Food was utterly disgusting. Don’t know why they changed such a good recipe. Good place is now a crappy place from four stars to zero stars but it won’t allow me to leave it at a zero star reading.

Under the new ownership I’ve come to appreciate the way they make their brown sauce for the chicken & broccoli and beef and broccoli. The yellow fried rice pairs better with the dark sauces in my opinion. Their bourbon chicken is a great alternative to the chicken teriyaki nuggets. Been seeing alot of unfair opinion based reviews and its a shame.

This new ownership is exactly what it needed. The food is by far superior to the previous owners. They are so kind. I got a lunch combo and they accommodated all my requests. I was pleasantly surprised the excellent quality of the food. They gained a long term customer. 5 stars.

Been coming here for years, it has been a great place for takeout. However, it’s now under new ownership. I did not realize this until I went to pick up my latest order. Unfortunately, much has changed And it has changed for the worst. Fried rice, chicken, wings, orange chicken, and most other items are not nearly as good as they were under the previous owners. Honestly, there was nothing I could say was as good or better than before. This last visit will most likely be my last visit.
