Dang the food is great here!! I came here with my Mom and we shared a sushi roll and the special. It was fantastic. I had to take pictures and it tastes as good as it looks. The atmosphere is trendy here and there are good looking people everywhere you turn. We ate outside on the patio. It was the perfect day for it. I recommend you get the menu on your phone because the paper ones don’t want to stay on the table if there’s any wind. It’s a great little place to stop for a bite in the Soo!!

We were greeted by the host in an uncomfortable manner. We are traveling so we did not have a reservation. This apparently was an issue for the host. The situation could have been handled much smoother if they had offered us seats at the bar instead of making us feel awkward by walking away to whisper to another adult and then offering us bar seats.
The mixologist saved the day. Excellent service! Fantastic drinks! Excellent demeanor.
The chef came to verify something about our orders. The food was very good. The protein was light for the price but well presented and very tasty.

We’ve had amazing dinner at the Peace Restaurant, perfect finish to a long day of driving. Highly recommend taking a Pad Thai and a cocktail or two

This review is long overdue! The food, the vibes, the drinks (love that they have an awesome mocktail menu too)… it’s always such an amazing experience at Peace. Special shoutout to Delaney! She is always so happy, has great suggestions and went above and beyond when I brought in my 11 month old for lunch. Also, must try the truffle fries! And can’t forget the dumplings… Alex, the chef sure knows his stuff! Thanks Peace ✌

My husband and I were in town for his business and decided to book at Peace Restaurant for our Saturday dinner and we were not disappointed! The service was amazing, the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable with their recommendations. The cocktails were innovative and the food was next level. Everything we tried had high quality ingredients and built complex flavours by layering just the right number of components. Would highly recommend paying them a visit and indulging in the miso ice cream!!!

I went in right at open and they treated us with beautiful cocktails, engaging staff and made us feel very welcome.
My family and I came back in the evening, 20 of us, and again welcomed from so many familiar staff and culinary faces.
The beef tartar was DELICIOUS. And meeting and chatting with Chef Matt and his team was awesome.
We will all be back, wishing you all the best and see you soon.

Ok so my wife really wanted oysters so because we’re from Toronto. Obviously we googled it while we were here. This place came up and had a decent rating so we said sure let’s try it out.
We’ve traveled across most of Canada and tried some really great places. But I must say. This easily falls in my top 3. To top it off we had a first hand experience right in front of the food being made. It was absolutely incredible. The quality and unique flavors the chef has put together is in point. We tried many different dishes and even ordered some to have on our drive back to Toronto the next day. We make it a yearly trip up to the Sault and for sure we’ll be back. Keep up the quality food.

A Real Gem, don’t miss it. While traveling and on A busy Friday night found a gracious host/manager who took immediate care of us despite not having a reservation. WE ate at the sushi bar and enjoyed watching the process of making the sushi etc.
My husband had the fish dish with the cashers and pineapple which was totally delectable and I had the Poke bowl which was also delicious.
A great wine selection and also non-alcoholic cocktail were totally pleasing.
Try this hip, lively spot, its a real winner.

We found this restaurant by accident when walking down Queen Street – best find ever. We had friendly, prompt service, and we sat at the bar close to the kitchen to catch all the action. We ordered some of their specialty drinks which were made to perfection, followed by some of the best shucked oysters I have had east of Vancouver. Watching the care and detail of the sous-chef in shucking each oyster was inspiring. If you are in Sault Ste. Marie, I would highly recommend making this a destination. ⭐⭐ ⭐ ⭐
